The Rockies recalled Molina from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Molina made 35 appearances (one start) with the Rockies as a Rule 5 selection in 2024, but he's made the move to the rotation at Albuquerque this season. Over his seven starts, Molina has produced a 9.20 ERA, 2.39 WHIP and 23:18 K:BB in 30.1 innings. The Rockies have an opening in the rotation after optioning Bradley Blalock to Albuquerque in a corresponding move, but Molina is expected to serve as a long man out of the Colorado bullpen.

The Rockies transferred Bryant (back) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

The move comes just a few days after the Rockies announced that Bryant underwent a successful ablation procedure to address his chronically bothersome back. The 33-year-old is without a timeline to resume baseball activities, but given the nature of his surgery as well as his placement on the 60-day IL, he'll most likely remain sidelined at least through the end of June. Since signing a seven-year, $182 million contract with the Rockies in March 2022, Bryant has had nine separate stints on the IL and has slashed just .244/.324/.370 over 712 total plate appearances.

Stephenson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

It's likely just a standard rest day for Stephenson, who started nine straight games after being reinstated from the injured list May 2. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a good start to the campaign with three doubles, a homer and a .794 OPS through 36 plate appearances. Jose Trevino will step in to catch righty Chase Petty on Sunday.

Flores is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Flores' streak of six consecutive starts will come to an end. With Flores on the bench, Jung Hoo Lee will make his first MLB start at designated hitter.

Koss is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Brett Wisely will step in at the keystone while Koss takes a seat following a stretch of three consecutive starts. Since Tyler Fitzgerald (rib) joined Casey Schmitt (oblique) on the injured list May 1, Koss has started at second base in seven of the Giants' first 10 games this month while going 5-for-23 (.217) with no extra-base hits or stolen bases.

Bailey is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Bailey will take a seat after he made starts behind the plate Friday and Saturday. Sam Huff will handle catching duties for the Giants.

Gorski will start at first base and bat fifth in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Gorski will get his third consecutive start at first base and appears to have at least temporarily moved into a near-everyday role with Enmanuel Valdez (shoulder), Spencer Horwitz (wrist) and Endy Rodriguez (finger) all on the injured list. Horwitz could be activated during the upcoming week, so Gorski's run as a lineup regular might prove to be short-lived.

Pham (illness) will start in left field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Pham will check back into the starting nine after sitting out the Pirates' last two games. The veteran outfielder has gotten off to a rough start to his first season in Pittsburgh, slashing .181/.263/.219 with a 28.0 percent strikeout rate over 118 plate appearances.

Iglesias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Iglesias served as the Padres' primary second baseman in April, but he shifted back to a reserve role when Jake Cronenworth was reinstated from the injured list Friday. Iglesias is also batting just .050 (1-for-20) in May, giving San Diego less incentive to find ways to get him into the lineup elsewhere.

The Padres scratched Merrill from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies due to an illness, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Tyler Wade will enter the lineup in center field after Merrill had started four straight games following his return from the injured list Tuesday. The 22-year-old has avoided any setbacks with the strained right hamstring that kept him on the shelf for a month, but he'll have to shake off this illness ahead of the Padres' series opener Monday against the Angels.
