Palmquist is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Phillies at Coors Field.

Palmquist will remain in the rotation for at least one more turn after he was summoned from Triple-A Albuquerque last week to take over the starting spot that belonged to Bradley Blalock, who had been filling in for the injured Ryan Feltner (back). The 24-year-old southpaw made his MLB debut on the road Friday in Arizona, taking a loss while giving up five earned runs on six hits and one walk over four innings. Palmquist won't make for a comfortable streaming option Wednesday when he pitches at Coors Field for the first time, and he could be at risk of a demotion to Triple-A after the start if Feltner is able to make a minor-league rehab appearance within the next few days and is deemed ready to return from the injured list the following week.

Parker (knee) will make his next start Tuesday versus Atlanta at Nationals Park.

Parker's previous start (also against Atlanta) was cut short last Wednesday, when he was struck in the left knee by a 107.2 mile-per-hour comebacker off the bat of Austin Riley midway through the fifth inning. According to Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com, Parker was able to make his between-starts bullpen session Friday without issue, so he's not expected to be operating with any restrictions Tuesday. Through his first nine starts of the season, Parker owns a 3-3 record, 4.32 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 32:24 K:BB across 50 innings.

Atlanta activated Strider (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list Monday.

Atlanta is idle Monday, but Strider is expected to make his return to the rotation Tuesday with a start against the Nationals on the road. The right-hander missed nearly a month of action with a strained hamstring and was cleared to return after completing a 65-pitch simulated game last week. Strider probably won't be ready for a full workload Tuesday, and his velocity was down a tick during the sim game. However, he gets a favorable matchup Tuesday and is also lined up for a second start later this week at home versus the Padres, so fantasy managers will want to include him in active lineups.

The Cubs are expected to recall Shaw from Triple-A Iowa prior to Monday's game in Miami, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Shaw was demoted in mid-April after slashing only .172/.294/.241 across 68 plate appearances, but he got back on track at Iowa with a .970 OPS, six home runs, five steals and an 11:17 K:BB over 24 contests. He will get another shot at being the Cubs' everyday third baseman, while Jon Berti transitions back into a utility role.

Lux started in left field and went 0-for-3 in Sunday's 3-1 win over Cleveland.

Lux was back in the lineup after missing Saturday's game with lower-back spasms. He and Austin Hays are sharing left field and DH duties for now. When one starts in left, the other is the designated hitter, although Lux is typically held back whenever the Reds face a left-hander.

Greene (groin) threw a 35-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Charlie Goldsmith of MLB.com reports.

Greene was enthused following the outing, noting no issues with his strained right groin and displaying good velocity. The right-hander will throw another session this week, but the Reds haven't announced when Greene is projected to return from the 15-day injured list. He's eligible for activation Friday.

Perdomo went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Sunday's 1-0 win over Colorado.

Perdomo extended a hit streak to six games with a second-inning single, after which he stole his 11th base over 46 games. That's two more than the shortstop had in 98 games last year, and he's threatening the career-high 16 swipes he posted in 2023 across 144 games. Perdomo is enjoying his most productive season since becoming a full-time starter in 2022.

Ginkel struck out two over a scoreless eighth inning to earn a hold in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Rockies.

Ginkel set down the side in order on 11 pitches (seven strikes) to hold a scant Diamondbacks lead for fill-in closer Shelby Miller. It was the second straight hold recorded by Ginkel, who has five over 10 outings. More importantly, he has four consecutive scoreless appearance following a disastrous meltdown against the Dodgers on May 9, when he was tagged with a loss and a blown save after allowing five runs and four hits over a third of an inning.

Rolison threw 2.1 scoreless innings while allowing one hit Sunday against the Diamondbacks.

Rolison was called up May 11 to make his big-league debut and has since made three appearances out of the bullpen. He has only one strikeout across four innings, though he also has yet to allow an earned run. Rolison is pitching multiple innings in low-leverage spots, and he has the potential to be stretched out as a starter at some point this season.

Graterol (shoulder) has resumed throwing and is hoping to go on a minor-league rehab assignment sometime in August, per MLB.com.

Graterol underwent right shoulder labrum surgery last November and only recently resumed throwing. The fireballing reliever still has a lengthy rehab ahead of him, but if he's able to participate in minor-league games in August, as hoped, he could join the Dodgers' bullpen for the final month of the regular season. That would set Graterol up to be a factor for Los Angeles during the postseason, where he has so far thrived -- through 24.1 career playoff innings, the right-hander holds a 1.85 ERA and 0.86 WHIP.
