Crow-Armstrong went 4-for-4 with two solo home runs and two additional runs scored in Friday's 11-3 win over the Cardinals.

Crow-Armstrong was perfect at the plate, highlighted by solo home runs in the first and third innings. After going 0-for-11 in a three-game set against Houston to close June, the All-Star starter has opened July with three multi-hit efforts in four games. For the season, he's slashing .274/.309/.559 with 23 home runs, 66 RBI, 64 runs scored and 26 steals across 366 plate appearances.

Busch went 4-for-4 with three home runs and five RBI in Friday's 11-3 win over the Cardinals.

Busch went deep in the second, third and seventh innings, marking his first career three-homer game and the second multi-homer effort of his young career. The first baseman finished June with a stellar .309/.385/.617 slash line and has opened July with eight hits over four games. For the season, he's slashing .288/.373/.546 with 17 home runs, 55 RBI, 41 runs scored and four steals across 308 plate appearances.

Doyle isn't in the starting lineup against the White Sox on Friday.

It's the second time in Colorado's past three games that Doyle will begin on the bench, though he's reached safely in six of his past seven contests and has driven in three runs during that span. Mickey Moniak is getting a start in center field Friday, and Tyler Freeman is starting in right.

Castellanos went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 9-6 loss to the Reds.

Castellanos put the Phillies up 3-0 early with a two-run homer in the first inning and later added an RBI on a forceout in the third. Over his past 10 games, the 33-year-old has hit safely seven times with three home runs, eight RBI and three runs scored. For the season, he's slashing .278/.321/.450 with 11 long balls, 49 RBI, 39 runs and two steals across 358 plate appearances.

Steer went 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-6 win over the Phillies.

Steer reached base in each of his first four plate appearances, highlighted by a two-run double that gave the Reds a 5-3 lead in the third inning. The 27-year-old has now hit safely in 12 of his past 14 games, collecting eight multi-hit efforts along with five home runs, 15 RBI, 11 runs scored and two steals. The recent surge has lifted his season slash line to .256/.313/.413 with 10 homers, 37 RBI, 37 runs scored and six stolen bases across 319 plate appearances.

Padres manager Mike Shildt said Friday that Darvish (elbow) is "probably not" going to start for the Padres on Sunday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

With the Padres in the midst of playing 10 games in 10 days and having a hole in their rotation for Sunday, there was some speculation that Darvish -- who hasn't pitched in the big leagues yet this year -- could be activated off the IL to make his season debut. However, that doesn't appear to be in San Diego's plans despite the fact that Darvish tossed 64 pitches in his most recent simulated game Tuesday. The Padres may instead want the veteran right-hander to make at least one minor-league rehab start before returning him to the big club, but it remains uncertain how the team will handle Sunday's open rotation spot. Cassavell suggests that a starter could be called up from the minors, but the situation remains nebulous.

Pagan earned the save in Friday's 9-6 win over the Phillies, allowing one hit without recording a walk or a strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.

Pagan was summoned to protect a three-run lead in the ninth inning and did so on 16 pitches. It was the 34-year-old's first save since June 22, but he's now allowed only one earned run over his past 12 outings. On the season, he's 19-for-22 in save chances with a 2.92 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 45:12 K:BB across 37 innings.

Abbott did not factor into the decision in Friday's 9-6 win over the Phillies, allowing four runs on nine hits and no walks with two strikeouts over 3.1 innings.

Abbott surrendered three runs in the first inning and labored throughout his shortest outing of the season, departing after just 66 pitches. While the southpaw has allowed one earned run or fewer in 12 of his 15 starts this season, he has given up at least four earned runs in each of the other three. He'll carry a 2.15 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 78:22 K:BB across 83.2 innings into a home matchup with the Marlins next week.

Luzardo (7-5) took the loss against the Reds on Friday, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts over two innings.

Luzardo was spotted a 3-0 lead in the first inning but unraveled in the third, failing to record an out while ultimately being charged with five runs in the frame. The southpaw had allowed just seven total earned runs over his previous four starts after reportedly correcting a pitch-tipping issue, but he's now surrendered at least four earned runs in four of his past seven outings. On the year, he owns a 4.44 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 115:35 K:BB across 97.1 innings and will try to rebound in a road matchup with the Giants next week.

Feltner (back) was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque after Thursday's game.

Feltner struggled with his command and control during his rehab assignment, allowing two homers and issuing nine walks in 10.2 innings with Albuquerque. He will effectively continue his rehab for the time being, but Feltner figures to be back in the majors eventually after he made 30 starts for Colorado last season, pitching to a 4.49 ERA and 1.34 WHIP over 162.1 innings.
