Young went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Rockies.

Young regained the lead for the Mets with his fifth-inning homer. The 29-year-old is hitting just .200 (4-for-20) across 10 games this season, but three of those hits have gone for extra bases (two homers, one double). He continues to fill a part-time role at designated hitter while the Mets are without Jesse Winker (oblique) and Mark Vientos (hamstring).

McNeil went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Rockies.

McNeil has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, going 9-for-32 (.281) with two homers in that span. The 33-year-old's blast gave the Mets a 4-1 lead in the sixth inning. McNeil is batting .240 with an .805 OPS, four homers, 13 RBI, nine runs scored, four doubles, three triples and a stolen base across 34 contests this season. He's been a regular in the lineup since returning from a season-opening oblique injury, splitting time between second base and the outfield.

Holmes (7-3) allowed one run on nine hits and struck out six without walking a batter over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rockies.

Holmes put a lot of traffic on the basepaths, but the only run he surrendered was on a Ryan McMahon solo shot in the fourth inning. The long ball has been a bit of an issue lately for Holmes, who has surrendered eight homers over his last six starts, but he also has four quality starts in that span. For the season, he's maintained a 2.95 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 65:23 K:BB through 73.1 innings during his first year as a full-time starter. Holmes is tentatively scheduled to make his next start at home versus the Rays.

Sheehan threw three innings, allowing one run on two hits and a walk while striking out four in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Sheehan made his second appearance with Oklahoma City and his third rehab outing in total. He stayed steady at three innings of work but continued to look impressive. Sheehan has allowed only four hits across eight innings, paired with a 14:1 K:BB in three rehab starts. He'll likely need two additional rehab appearances before being activated.

Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

Schwarber snapped a brief eight-game homerless dry spell, clubbing his 20th long ball of the season Saturday. The veteran slugger has managed to hit for a healthy average in 2025, as he's slashing .265/.363/.603 with 13 big flies, seven doubles, 28 RBI and two stolen bases across his last 157 plate appearances (36 games). Schwarber trails only Shohei Ohtani for the National League lead in homers so far.

Helsley (3-0) blew the save but picked up the win in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Dodgers, allowing one run on two hits while striking out three in the ninth inning.

Called in to complete a 1-0 shutout in the top of the ninth, the Cardinals closer instead gave up back-to-back singles to Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts, then uncorked a wild pitch to bring home the tying run. Helsley then fell into the victory when Ben Casparius failed to record an out in the bottom of the ninth for the Dodgers. It was the second straight blown save for Helsley and his fourth of the year in 17 opportunities, and through 23 innings he carries a 3.52 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB.

Fedde didn't factor into the decision Saturday, allowing four hits and four walks over 5.1 scoreless innings during a 2-1 win over the Dodgers. He struck out two.

The righty once again had trouble finding the plate consistently, tossing only 52 of 99 pitches for strikes, but Fedde avoided taking any damage despite putting runners in scoring position during the second, third, fifth and sixth innings. It's the fifth time in 13 starts this season that Fedde has issued at least four free passes, leaving him with a shaky 46:33 K:BB through 73.2 innings, but he still sports a respectable 3.54 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. He'll try to tighten things up in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend in Milwaukee.

Senger is with the Mets in Colorado as a member of the taxi squad, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Francisco Alvarez is awaiting the birth of his child and could be away from the team at any point in the next few days. Senger will be set to briefly replace him on the active roster.

Yamamoto came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Cardinals, allowing four hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out nine.

The right-hander generated 32 called or swinging strikes over 94 pitches (61 total strikes), but a lack of run support forced Yamamoto to settle for his eighth quality start of the season rather than his seventh win. He'll take a 2.20 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 86:25 K:BB through 73.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Giants.

Shaw went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Tigers.

The rookie third baseman launched a slider from Keider Montero over the left-field fence in the seventh inning, one of five long balls by the Cubs on the afternoon. It's the second homer of the season for Shaw and his first since he returned to the majors May 19. In 17 games since being called back up, he's batting .339 (21-for-62) with seven doubles, seven steals, five RBI and 11 runs.
