The Rangers placed Winn on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right arm fatigue.

The arm fatigue may have played a part in Winn's poor showing in a 5-2 loss to the Angels on Saturday, when he retired one of the three batters he faced and was charged with two earned runs on two hits. Texas recalled right-hander Gavin Collyer from Triple-A Round Rock to replace Winn in the bullpen.

Carter isn't in Texas' starting lineup Sunday against the Angels.

With the Angels sending southpaw Reid Detmers to the hill, Carter will begin the game on the bench. Sam Haggerty is starting in center field and batting seventh for the Rangers.

Gray did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Twins, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Gray went just four innings in less-than-ideal weather conditions, throwing only 45 of 75 pitches for strikes while generating six whiffs. It marked his shortest outing since returning from the injured list May 6, but the 36-year-old still owns an impressive 2.14 ERA over four starts during that stretch. He'll carry a 3.27 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB across 44 innings into a road matchup against the Guardians next weekend.

Jung (shoulder) isn't starting against the Angels on Sunday.

Jung exited Saturday's game in the fourth inning due to left shoulder soreness. He indicated after that contest that he thinks he will be "alright," per Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News, but the third baseman isn't starting Sunday. In Jung's place, Ezequiel Duran is manning the hot corner.

Smith earned the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Phillies, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Smith has been rolling, converting his last 15 save chances while allowing just one earned run in his last 13.2 innings. The 27-year-old Smith leads the majors with 18 saves (in 20 chances) this season while posting a 2.45 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 37:5 K:BB across 25.2 innings.

Peraza will start at third base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Rangers, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Peraza will be included in the starting nine for the fifth time in the last six games, this time occupying third base after his previous four starts had come at second base. The Angels should have steady playing time available for Peraza in the short term after Yoan Moncada (knee) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday. Peraza has been reasonably productive when given the chance to play; he's maintaining a .278/.347/.474 slash line to go with six home runs and five stolen bases over 148 plate appearances on the season.

Ober (6-2) earned the win against the Red Sox on Sunday, allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks with three strikeouts over five innings.

Ober filled the zone with 59 strikes on 82 pitches, but three of the four runs he surrendered came via two homers. The 30-year-old has now yielded seven earned runs across 10 innings since throwing a complete-game shutout May 12, though he was still able to log at least five frames for the ninth straight outing. He'll carry a 3.92 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 43:17 K:BB across 62 innings this season into his next start, which is projected to be a road matchup against the Pirates.

Adams earned the save against the Red Sox on Sunday, retiring the only batter he faced in the ninth inning.

Adams entered with a one-run lead, two outs and runners on the corners in the ninth inning and escaped the jam on just one pitch to earn his first career save. The 26-year-old has now posted three straight scoreless outings after yielding three earned runs over his first two appearances. He owns a 3.38 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB across eight innings and is the 11th Twins pitcher to record a save in 2026.

Jackson is out of the lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

Jackson Holliday will rejoin the starting nine at second base after Jackson occupied the position for the Orioles' 5-3 win in Game 1 while going 1-for-4 with a run scored. The Orioles have yet to start Holliday in consecutive games since he was activated from the injured list Monday, but he should eventually settle back into a near-everyday role once he's further removed from the hand injury that had kept him on the shelf all season. When that happens, Jackson is likely to see a stark downturn in his playing time.

Mayo (back) is out of the lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

After being scratched from the starting nine ahead of Game 1 due to a low back discomfort, Mayo went unused off the bench in the Orioles' 5-3 win. The Orioles are seemingly viewing Mayo as day-to-day but will likely look to stay away from using him in the nightcap. Blaze Alexander will get the starting nod at third base in place of Mayo for Game 2.
