Wilson (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

A sore left shoulder will keep Wilson out of the starting nine for a fourth straight game, paving the way for Alika Williams to receive another nod at shortstop. The Athletics deemed Wilson available off the bench for Saturday's 5-2 loss, though the 24-year-old ultimately went unused. Wilson can be viewed as day-to-day heading into a three-game series with the Dodgers that begins Monday.

Soderstrom (hip) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Soderstrom will receive some maintenance for his sore left hip after striking out in his lone at-bat Saturday before the Athletics lifted him in the bottom of the third inning. Manager Mark Kotsay said Soderstrom was scheduled for a re-evaluation Sunday, after which the Athletics should have a better idea whether the 24-year-old's hip issue is a day-to-day concern or something that will require a trip to the injured list. The Athletics will go with Colby Thomas as their starter in left field during the series finale in Anaheim.

Canzonze is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians in order to rest his ailing right hamstring, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Canzone missed one game after sustaining the right hamstring injury last Sunday versus Boston, but he returned Wednesday and started three of the past four games. He doesn't appear to have suffered a setback and is instead just resting the hamstring, so Canzone will most likely return to the lineup Monday against the Angels.

Kurtz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Joey Meneses will pick up a start at first base while Kurtz receives a breather for just the second time all season and for the first time since April 1. Kurtz will be joined on the bench by shortstop Jacob Wilson (shoulder) and Tyler Soderstrom (hip), both of whom are day-to-day with injuries.

Bubic (elbow) allowed a hit and no walks with no strikeouts across two scoreless innings in Saturday's rehab start with Triple-A Omaha.

Bubic resumed his rehab assignment Wednesday by tossing a perfect inning, and Saturday marked another positive step as the left-hander completed two scoreless innings on 22 pitches (15 strikes). He has been sidelined since May 18 due to left elbow soreness, though his initial rehab assignment was halted after one outing June 9 because of left shoulder discomfort. A return to Kansas City before the All-Star break remains possible, but if the left-hander gets fully stretched out, he likely won't get activated until after the break. The Royals will evaluate how Bubic feels Sunday before determining his next steps, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

The Guardians optioned Halpin to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old was called up by Cleveland in mid-June and played 10 games during this stint in the majors, going 4-for-23 with a triple, five runs and eight strikeouts. Halpin is heading back to Columbus to clear space for the return of Chase DeLauter (rib) from the injured list.

Rangers manager Skip Schumaker said Sunday that Langford (hamstring) will remain on the 10-day injured list through the All-Star break, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Langford will be eligible to come off the IL on July 7, but rather than rushing him back on the field for the final week of the first half, the Rangers will keep him out through the break to provide more time for his strained let hamstring to heal. Evan Carter was reinstated from the 10-day IL on Sunday in a corresponding move and will settle back in as the Rangers' primary center fielder, while Langford's absence should give Alejandro Osuna a longer leash as the team's main option in left field.

The Tigers activated Flaherty (ankle) from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday's game against the Astros, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The veteran right-hander has spent the past couple weeks on the shelf due to a left peroneal strain, but he's ready to rejoin Detroit's rotation after one rehab start with Double-A Erie. Flaherty has yet to find much consistency on the mound in 2026 with a 5.35 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 78:34 K:BB across 65.2 innings.

Taveras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Taveras has maintained a .248/.324/.363 slash line (95 wRC+) to go with two home runs and nine stolen bases across 260 plate appearances on the season, giving the Orioles adequate production while the team has navigated numerous injuries. However, with Adley Rutschman (concussion) and Dylan Beavers (oblique) returning from the injured list Sunday, Taveras seems headed for a fourth outfielder role. Baltimore will go with Taylor Ward, Colton Cowser and Beavers as its starting outfield trio Sunday.

Alexander is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

The 27-year-old had started each of the last three games, but he could shift back into a utility role after Baltimore reinstated two key lineup cogs in Adley Rutschman (concussion) and Dylan Beavers (oblique) from the injured list Sunday. Alexander's last five starts had come at third base, but Coby Mayo could end up seeing the bulk of the time at the hot corner since he'll have fewer opportunities to serve as the designated hitter with Rutschman and Beavers back in the fold.
