Gil (lat) could throw off a mound Friday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Skipper Aaron Boone noted that Gil has been feeling strong in his rehab, indicating that the right-hander's throwing program is continuing to progress in the right direction. If all goes well during the week, the club may clear Gil to throw off a mound at Dodger Stadium, per Hoch.

Gausman (5-4) recorded the win Monday against the Rangers after allowing one run on five hits and no walks in eight innings. He struck out six.

On the heels of tossing seven shutout innings his last time out, Gausman matched a season high in innings pitched Monday in another dominant outing. The veteran right-hander whiffed 15 and now hasn't issued a walk in any of his last four starts, and he sports a 2.81 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and a remarkable 33:1 K:BB over his last 32 innings (five starts). Gausman will be looking to keep the good times rolling in his next appearance, which is slated to come this weekend at home versus the Athletics.

Ochoa (undisclosed) is 4-for-16 in five games at Single-A Fayetteville this season.

Ochoa began the 2025 campaign on the 7-day injured list after being involved in a car accident, but he's since been cleared for game action. He appeared in six games at the Florida Complex League earlier in the month (3-for-21 with three RBI and two runs scored) before being activated from the minor league injured list and joining the Woodpeckers.

Cannon (back) will start Tuesday's game against the Mets, Kyle Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Cannon had previously been in line to make his ninth start of the season this past Sunday against the Rangers, but he was scratched due to lower-back tightness. The right-hander has apparently responded well to a couple extra days of recovery and will now make his next turn through the rotation Tuesday. Cannon is enjoying an impressive month so far, posting a 2.74 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with a 15:0 K:BB across 23 innings (four starts).

Lynch will start Tuesday's contest versus the Reds in Kansas City, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Lynch will toe the rubber for his second start of the season, after he previously tossed 1.2 scoreless innings in his first start last Wednesday against the Giants. The left-hander could see a slight increase in his workload Tuesday, though he's unlikely to reach the five innings he would need to qualify for a win.

LeMahieu is not in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Angels on Monday.

LeMahieu will begin Monday's game in the dugout after going 3-for-11 with one run and one RBI during the Yankees' weekend series against the Rockies. Jorbit Vivas will shift over to second base while Oswald Peraza gets the start in the hot corner.

Goldschmidt is not in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Angels on Monday.

Ben Rice will start at first base and bat in the leadoff spot in Monday's series opener. Goldschmidt went 7-for-17 with one steal and two RBI over his last four games, and since the beginning of May he has slashed .329/.393/.513 with three steals, three home runs and 14 RBI in 85 plate appearances.

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters that Bader was held out of Monday's lineup against the Rays due to a sore finger, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The injury doesn't appear to be that serious, with Baldelli relaying that Bader "[is going] to be fine." The Twins will go with Willi Castro, DaShawn Keirsey and Trevor Larnach in the outfield for Monday's series opener. Bader has slashed .321/.391/.500 with five steals, two home runs and eight RBI over 64 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

Carlson went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, a steal and an additional run scored Monday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals.

The Baltimore outfielder had a big day against one of his former clubs, pushing the Orioles' lead to 5-0 with a 397-foot, three-run homer off St. Louis starter Erick Fedde in the fourth. Carlson also swiped his first bag of the season earlier in the third inning. The 26-year-old is now slashing .176/.216/.382 with two homers, seven RBI and four runs scored over 37 plate appearances.

Bautista secured the save in Monday's 5-2 win against St. Louis, pitching a clean inning with two strikeouts.

The flamethrowing right-hander required only 10 pitches, seven which were strikes, to convert his 56th career save. Bautista has been less than stellar in May, allowing five runs with an 8:5 K:BB across 7.2 innings. Despite the recent string of subpar performance, he remains cemented as the Baltimore closer with a 3.78 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 19:11 K:BB through 16.2 total innings.
