Arias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Arias will cede his spot in the middle infield to Angel Martinez, who starts at second base while Daniel Schneemann covers shortstop. After he recently cobbled together a five-game hit streak, Arias has gone 0-for-8 with one walk and five strikeouts over his subsequent three starts.

Perez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a solo home run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

Perez launched his fourth home run of the season in the fourth inning against Cincinnati starter Wade Miley. Since making his season debut May 27 following some missed time due to back inflammation, the outfielder has been a potent offensive performer, as he's now batting .302 with a robust .968 OPS. While Perez's success Sunday came against a southpaw, he actually has reverse splits over the past three years, giving him some fantasy appeal no matter who is on the mound for the opponent.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Naylor will receive the afternoon off after he started behind the plate in both of the first two games of the series. Austin Hedges will fill in for Naylor as the Guardians' starting catcher.

Vest was removed during his appearance in the eighth inning of Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Reds due to an unspecified injury, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports. He dropped to 5-1 on the season after retiring two of the six batters he faced and allowing three unearned runs on three hits.

Vest entered the game in a high-leverage spot in the top of the eighth, taking over with a runner on second base and no outs while the Tigers held a 4-2 lead. After allowing back-to-back base hits, Vest struck out Tyler Stephenson, then loaded the bases after Detroit was unable to record an out on a fielder's choice. Vest then allowed a game-tying sacrifice fly before Gavin Lux's single scratched through the go-ahead run. Vest remained in the game after Lux's base hit, but he uncorked a wild pitch that scored another run. The right-hander seemed to be in discomfort after the pitch and was lifted from the contest, though the Tigers didn't provide an immediate explanation for his removal. Manager A.J. Hinch will likely shed more light on Vest's situation after the game or when he meets with the media prior to Tuesday's series opener versus the Pirates.

Jones went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

Jones, who has become Detroit's primary leadoff option against left-handed pitching, now has two home runs -- both of which have come against southpaws -- this season in 14 at-bats. Over the past three years, the outfielder has a 1.031 OPS against lefties, albeit in a limited sample. Jones may not play much against righties moving forward, which caps his overall fantasy value, but he looks like an emerging weapon against southpaws who can be used in DFS formats in the right matchups.

The Orioles claimed Tyler off waivers from the Phillies on Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Baltimore had an opening on its 40-man roster, so no corresponding move was needed to make room for Tyler. The 28-year-old right-hander will join his eighth different organization since entering the professional ranks in 2018. Tyler had pitched exclusively at Triple-A Lehigh Valley this season, accruing a 4.31 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 43:21 K:BB in 62.2 innings. He'll presumably slot into the rotation for Norfolk and could be an option to make starts for Baltimore later in 2025.

Heim is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Heim will take a seat after starting the first two games of the series. Kyle Higashioka will step in to catch for Kumar Rocker.

Rodgers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Rodgers will return to the bench after he went 2-for-9 with a run scored over the past three games. With Jacob Melton (ankle) going on the injured list Saturday, Jose Altuve will be needed in left field, but Rodgers may not necessarily be in store for a regular role at the keystone. Mauricio Dubon has been covering third base of late, but he could be prioritized at second base ahead of Rodgers if Isaac Paredes (hamstring) returns next week as anticipated.

Jung is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Jung is batting .143 (7-for-49) with 16 strikeouts since the start of June, so manager Bruce Bochy decided to give the third baseman a "mental day" to reset, per Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News. Ezequiel Duran will fill in at third base.

Walker is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Walker's troubles at the plate have continued in June with a .678 OPS through 12 games, and he'll sit Sunday after starting the previous 14 contests. Victor Caratini will take over at first base for the series finale versus Minnesota.
