Raleigh went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, three runs scored and two walks in Sunday's win over the Cubs.

Raleigh belted a two-run shot in the first inning Sunday for his 31st long ball of the year. It was his third straight game with a home run, and he has five over his last five games. The superstar catcher has produced three straight 30-homer seasons and is quickly approaching his career best of 34 set last season. Raleigh is slashing .276/.383/.659 with 45 extra-base hits and 66 RBIs through 75 appearances.

Burdi (foot) hasn't pitched for Triple-A Worcester since making his most recent rehab appearance June 15.

Burdi began his assignment June 13, and after tossing a scoreless inning that same day, he then pitched two days later and allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk over 1.1 innings. According to Chris Hatfield of SoxProspects.com, Burdi was removed from the Triple-A roster Wednesday but wasn't activated from the Red Sox's injured list, which could be a sign that he's dealing with a setback that resulted in him being pulled off his assignment. The right-hander has been on the shelf since June 3 due to a right foot contusion.

Gilbert (2-2) allowed four runs on eight hits over five innings Sunday, striking out six and earning a win over the Cubs.

Gilbert gave up one run through four innings before the Cubs scored three in the fifth. All four runs scored against him came via home runs, including two by Seiya Suzuki, but Seattle's 14-run outburst still led to a victory. Gilbert entered Sunday with just four homers allowed through 35.1 innings this season. He's posted a 16:1 K:BB in 10 innings since returning from the injured list and now owns a 60:7 K:BB with a 3.12 ERA across eight appearances. Gilbert generated 18 whiffs on 90 pitches Sunday, including eight with his splitter. His next start is projected to be on the road against Texas.

Hicks (toe) retired two of the six batters he faced and allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk in his rehab appearance Sunday with Triple-A Worcester.

Sunday's appearance marked Hicks' organizational debut, after the Giants placed him on the 15-day injured list June 3 before trading him to the Red Sox two weeks later. The right-hander didn't look sharp in his return to game action, as he needed 23 pitches (10 strikes) to record two outs and sported a fastball that averaged 95.5 miles per hour, about two ticks below his season average with the Giants. Boston manager Alex Cora previously said that Hicks was on track to return from the IL next weekend, though the 28-year-old's activation could be delayed if he's unable to show much improvement in his next rehab appearance.

Singleton signed a minor-league contract with the Astros on Sunday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Singleton was released from his minor-league contract with the Mets on Monday after batting .213 with a 12 home runs, 42 RBI, 37 runs scored and one stolen base over 55 games with Triple-A Syracuse this season. The 33-year-old first baseman will begin his third stint in the Astros organization after previously seeing big-league action with Houston in 2014 and 2015 and 2023 and 2024.

Perez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Padres.

The Kansas City veteran started at designated hitter and notched his 282nd career homer with a 412-foot long ball off San Diego starter Randy Vasquez in the sixth inning. This marks Perez's fifth homer of the month, as he's been productive in June with a .280 average (21-for-75), 14 RBI and seven runs scored across 19 games. Overall, the 35-year-old is slashing .235/.277/.394 with 41 RBI and 19 runs scored through 308 plate appearances.

Lugo did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 3-2 loss at San Diego, allowing one run on two hits and no walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out seven.

The veteran right-hander looked sharp against one of his former clubs, generating a solid 14 whiffs out of his 90 total pitches to secure his eighth quality start. The only blemish on Lugo's line came when he stranded Jackson Merrill upon his departure and reliever Angel Zerpa subsequently allowed the runner to score. Lugo now sports a 2.93 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 68:23 K:BB through 83 total innings. He lines up for a difficult test in his next appearance, currently scheduled to be against the Dodgers at home next weekend.

Buxton went 3-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-8 loss to the Brewers.

Buxton got the Twins on the board in the first inning with a leadoff blast off Quinn Priester, tying the game 1-1, before adding a second homer off Abner Uribe in the sixth. Buxton has been on fire, going 9-for-23 (.391) with six home runs in his last six games. He's boosted his slash line to .285/.353/.575 with 17 homers, 47 RBI, 46 runs scored and 13 steals across 258 plate appearances this season.

Giolito took a no-decision in Sunday's 9-5 loss at San Francisco, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out five.

The veteran right-hander survived conceding two unearned runs in the third inning but fumbled away a two-run lead when he allowed solo homers to Casey Schmitt and Mike Yastrzemski in the fifth. Despite the pair of long balls yielded, Giolito continued his recent solid run of performances, collecting his third consecutive quality start. Since a six-run disaster against Atlanta on May 17, the 30-year-old has been dependable, pitching to a 2.87 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 29:11 K:BB across 31.1 frames. Giolito is currently slated to face the Blue Jays in a home series next weekend.

Hoffman took a blown save in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox, allowing one unearned run on a hit and a walk in one-third of an inning.

The Jays turned to Hoffman to protect a one-run lead in the eighth inning with two outs and two runners aboard. He issued a walk to Chase Meidroth, loading the bases, before committing an error on an Andrew Benintendi grounder that allowed the tying run to score. Hoffman subsequently allowed a two-run double to Miguel Vargas, putting Toronto behind for good. It's the fourth blown save for Hoffman this year, though Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports that manager John Schneider doesn't seem inclined to make a change at closer. Overall, Hoffman's converted 17 saves while posting a 5.29 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 44:10 K:BB across 32.1 innings this season.
