O'Malley was removed Monday in the first inning of Triple-A Tacoma's game after sustaining a concussion, Tacoma radio play-by-play announcer Mike Curto reports.

O'Malley apparently suffered the head injury after tripping over the pitcher's mound while pursuing a popup. The utility man has had a rocky season on the health front, as he was sidelined for the beginning of the campaign with appendicitis and also missed significant time while recovering from shoulder surgery. The concussion could keep him out of the mix for a promotion to the Mariners when rosters expand in September.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Milwaukee.

The veteran shortstop has put together a modest seven-game hitting streak, contributing two homers and six RBI over that span. Crawford's current .234 batting average would qualify as the second-worst mark of his career, but he has kept his deep-league fantasy value afloat with 11 homers and 63 RBI through 442 plate appearances.

Baez went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a pair of runs against the Reds on Tuesday.

He's provided a rock-solid bat for the Cubs and fantasy owners of late, hitting .297/.333/.622 with seven homers, three steals, 21 RBI and 16 runs over his last 19 games. At 24 years old, Baez is just coming into his own as a hitter, and the best may be yet to come. If he can find a way to improve his plate discipline, look out.

Lindor hit a solo homer to lead off the bottom of the first inning Tuesday, then went hitless over his next three at-bats along with the rest of the Indians in a 9-1 loss to Boston.

After getting greeted harshly by Lindor, Red Sox starter Doug Fister proceeded to cruise through Cleveland's lineup for the remainder of the game. Lindor's fantasy owners won't mind too much, though, as he's now up to 21 homers, although both his batting average and his steals have declined this year. Of course, some of that can be blamed on a deflated BABIP (.273), and Lindor's power-speed combo is still plenty enough to make him a strong shortstop play across the fantasy universe.

Rojas is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas was solid in Game 1 of the doubleheader -- going 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI -- but he'll head to the bench for the second tilt of the day. Mike Aviles will man the shortstop position in his absence and bat eighth.

Arcia was left out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game in San Francisco, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Arcia recently missed a pair of starts due to back spasms, but there has been nothing yet to suggest this absence is related. Eric Sogard will take over at shortstop and bat seventh.

Correa (thumb) estimated that he will need about a week of rehab games before he returns, although he has not yet been sent on a rehab assignment, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

He took batting practice with the team Tuesday and will meet with the team doctor to determine the plan for his impending rehab assignment. Once he gets sent to an affiliate, Correa estimates he will need 20-to-30 at-bats before he returns to the Astros. An early-September return seems like the most likely scenario.

Correa (thumb) will hit on the field with the team Tuesday, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

He appears to be nearing a rehab assignment, and will in fact meet with the team doctor again in the coming days before finalizing which affiliate he will start his assignment with. A return before the end of the month may be on the optimistic side, but Correa could certainly return in early September. Marwin Gonzalez is starting at shortstop once again Tuesday in his place.

Bichette (ankle) is expected to be back in the lineup for High-A Dunedin in a day or two, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

He has been out since Aug. 13 with a right ankle sprain, but it is not a serious injury. Few prospects have improved their stock to the extent that Bichette has in his first full season. He has a .344 /.399/.448 slash line with two home runs and eight steals (on 11 attempts) in 30 games at High-A, and won't turn 20 until March.

Turner (wrist) played five innings at shortstop and went 0-for-3 at the plate in his first rehab game with Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

After being moved to the 60-day disabled list earlier this month, Turner won't be eligible for activation until Aug. 29, so it's expected that he'll remain with Syracuse for at least the next week. Unsurprisingly, Turner was eased back into action in his first game action since June 29, when he fractured his right wrist after being hit by a pitch. Turner should eventually play full games with Syracuse in back-to-back contests before the rehab assignment comes to an end, at which point the Nationals will reinsert him back into the lineup in an everyday role at shortstop or center field.
