Gordon went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Mets.

After a 13-game slump in which Gordon hit .216 (11-for-51) and failed to swipe a base, he now has three hits and three steals in his last two games. The 29-year-old's 43 steals have him second in the majors behind Billy Hamilton's 51.

Crawford recently began to take grounders at third base and got his first start at the position Sunday at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.

Crawford had only played shortstop since the Phillies drafted him, but with Freddy Galvis entrenched at that position, the team is starting to consider other options. The 22-year-old Crawford had a terrible first half of the season, but he's hit .306/.397/.595 with 11 home runs in 173 at-bats since July 1. Maikel Franco has struggled this season and could lose at-bats to Crawford if the Phillies decide to promote him to the majors in September.

Lindor went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, two RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's loss to Kansas City.

This was Lindor's first multi-hit showing in 13 games, and he posted a disastrous .523 OPS during that stretch. It's been a rare slump for the shortstop, though. Lindor boasts a respectable .266/.322/.463 slash line with 20 homers, 58 RBI, nine stolen bases and 66 runs for the year, which are solid marks in the majority of fantasy settings.

Ahmed (hand) made his first rehab appearance Saturday with the Diamondbacks' rookie-level Arizona League squad, going 0-for-2 with a walk over his three plate appearances.

It marked Ahmed's first game action since June 27 against the Cardinals, when he suffered a fractured right hand that required surgery and later resulted in his placement on the 60-day disabled list. As a result of the lengthy layoff, Ahmed may need to appear in several more games before the Diamondbacks determine he's picked up sufficient at-bats and is ready to rejoin the big club. Once he's activated, Ahmed will likely step in as the Diamondbacks' top reserve in the middle infield, making trade-deadline pickup Adam Rosales a bit of a redundant piece on the roster.

Turner (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

He has been out since June 29 with the wrist injury, and since he is on the 60-day disabled list, he cannot be activated prior to Aug. 29. Once activated, he should take over as the everyday shortstop in an effort to get locked in prior to the postseason. He was hitting .279 with seven home runs and 35 steals in 315 plate appearances before the injury.

Correa (thumb) took batting practice off a pitching machine Sunday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports. "He looked great. He felt great," manager A.J. Hinch said afterwards.

Correa continues to make progress in his return from a torn ligament in his thumb. The Astros will wait and see how he feels Monday following the increased activity, but assuming everything checks out, he's expected to take batting practice on the field prior to Tuesday's series opener against the Nationals. The star shortstop is inching closer to a minor-league rehab assignment.

DeJong went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk Saturday against the Pirates.

DeJong launched his 20th bomb of the campaign in the eighth inning as the Cardinals tried to mount a comeback, though they came up short. He's now homered in back-to-back games to raise his slugging percentage to .591 to go along with a .305 batting average, and he's been a fantasy superstar for the nearly three months he's been in the lineup.

Anderson went 3-for-4 in Friday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

Anderson's three-hit night was his first since May 21, when his batting average reached a season-high .264. It's been a big struggle since then for the 23-year-old shortstop, but he's showed signs of a rebound in August. He's hit safely in 14 of the last 15 games, slashing .328/.348/.688/1.036 with five home runs, four doubles, two triples, 12 RBI and 10 runs scored over that stretch. Despite the productive run, Anderson remains very much a work in progress. He strikes out way too much and doesn't get on base enough, so plate discipline and pitch recognition should be the main areas of focus over the final six weeks of the season and into the offseason.

Correa (thumb) took groundballs and ran the bases again Friday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa, Houston's All-Star shortstop, continues to increase his volume of hitting in the batting cages as he preps himself for an eventual rehabilitation assignment.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 10-2 drubbing of the Phillies.

It was Crawford's first homer in August, coming 53 at-bats into the month. The 30-year-old has reached 10 homers and 60 RBI in each of his last four seasons. Outside of the modest power and run production, it has been a down year for the slugging shortstop (.229/.279/.368).
