Crawford is batting eighth and playing third base Thursday.

Philadelphia hasn't played the 22-year-old every day but is mixing him in often at the hot corner -- at the expense of Maikel Franco -- to gauge its future around the infield. Though he holds a .352 OBP in his limited action (54 plate appearances), Crawford hasn't yet homered and plods along with a .261 batting average and a .391 slugging percentage. He will step in against Kenta Maeda.

DeJong went 1-for-5 with a solo home run during Wednesday's win over Cincinnati.

DeJong also homered in Tuesday's win over the Reds and is now up to 24 homers, 60 RBI, 50 runs and a .283/.320/.535 slash line for the campaign. He's provided a huge power boost for fantasy owners, as shortstop and second base are typically tougher positions to acquire pop from.

Lindor went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

His seventh-inning shot off Yusmeiro Petit gave Lindor 31 homers on the season, setting a new big-league record for a switch-hitting shortstop. The 23-year-old has been a big part of Cleveland's amazing hot streak to close out the year, and he now sports a .325/.416/.688 slash line with six home runs, three steals, 17 runs and 17 RBI in 19 September games.

Turner went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Braves.

He led off the game with his 10th jack of the year, then helped kick-start the Nats' game-winning rally in the eighth inning with his two-bagger. Turner's put together a strong .286/.359/.543 slash line in September with three homers, five steals, 10 RBI and 14 runs in 18 games, and he seems more than ready for the postseason.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Rockies.

Crawford's bat has cooled during his team's current homestand that began Sept. 11 (5-for-22), but he was able to crush a ball through the cold San Francisco night and deliver his 14th homer of the season. Despite enduring a brief slump, the 30-year-old has looked like a different hitter in the second half, slashing .273/.339/.440 with six homers and 27 RBI since the All-Star break.

X-rays on Seager's ankle came back negative, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Seager fouled a ball off his right ankle Wednesday night, and while he was able to stay in the contest, the Dodgers sent him for X-rays afterwards to make sure he wasn't dealing with anything more than a bruise. Everything checked out, which is good news, but his status for Thursday's series finale remains up in the air. Manager Dave Roberts recently stated that Seager would play every game for the remainder of the season, but the team may decide to give him an off-day to keep him fresh ahead of the playoffs. After an 0-for-5 showing Wednesday, Seager is just 5-for-34 (.147) over his last nine games.

Rojas (shoulder) has a small tear in his rotator cuff, but it will not require a surgical procedure, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas has been out of the starting lineup since injuring his shoulder during a game in Milwaukee on Sunday, but he was able to come in off the bench and hit a home run during Wednesday's victory over the Mets. It appears as though he will be playing through the injury for the rest of this season, although it's hard to imagine that Rojas will be making everyday starts with this injury hampering him.

Crawford is out of the lineup against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Crawford receives a day off following nine consecutive starts, hitting .310/.432/.483 with five RBI and five runs during that span. For Wednesday's game, Maikel Franco will man the hot corner while Cesar Hernandez and Freddy Galvis play up the middle.

Urena is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Royals, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

With Urena sitting out for the second straight day, Ryan Goins will cover shortstop while Darwin Barney draws the start at second base. Urena has played in 14 games for Toronto this season, over which he's hit just .222 with a .621 OPS.

Diaz was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Diaz had been toiling with the Redbirds since June 28, when he was sent down to work on refining his swing. He wrapped up his Triple-A tenure with a .253/.305/.388 line over 46 games, with both his batting average and OPS actually checking in lower than his production in those categories during his 71 games with the big-league club prior to his demotion. He's likely to see sporadic playing time for the balance of the regular season, as standout rookie Paul DeJong is firmly entrenched in Diaz's old everyday shortstop role.
