Neto went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a two-RBI double during Sunday's 8-5 win over the White Sox.

Neto had gone 17 consecutive games without a round tripper, a dry spell that tied his season long, before tagging Sean Burke for a solo shot in the sixth frame Sunday. The performance marked Neto's first game since June 24 with multiple RBI. In his last 10 games, Neto is 10-for-37 (.270) with nine RBI and three runs scored.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Rangers.

Crawford took Jacob deGrom yard in the fourth inning, marking the shortstop's ninth homer of the campaign. He's swatted a long ball in two of his last three games, and Crawford has now scored a run in four consecutive contests. However, he hasn't had a multi-hit game since July 20. Since then, he's gone 6-for-33 (.182) at the dish.

The Mariners will promote Emerson from High-A Everett to Double-A Arkansas during the upcoming week, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Emerson will make the leap to Double-A after slashing .281/.388/.453 with 11 home runs and six stolen bases over 90 games with Everett this season. The shortstop is considered to be among Seattle's top prospects.

The Brewers will promote Pena from Single-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin this week, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Pena will head to the Midwest League after slashing .308/.375/.469 with six home runs and 41 stolen bases across 309 plate appearances for Carolina. The 18-year-old has split time between shortstop and third base this season along with fellow top prospect Jesus Made, who is also set to move up to High-A this week. Pena and Made should continue to play regularly alongside one another on the left side of the Wisconsin infield for the rest of the season.

Meidroth (thumb) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Meidroth will miss out on a third consecutive start while he continues to tend to a bruised right thumb after being hit by a pitch Wednesday. Josh Rojas will spell Meidroth at second base and will bat ninth Sunday.

Hernaiz will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

With Jacob Wilson (forearm) stuck on the injured list, Hernaiz appears to have taken over as the Athletics' primary shortstop. He'll collect his fifth straight start Sunday after going 5-for-14 with a solo home run over the previous four contests.

Kiner-Falefa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Liover Peguero will move over to shortstop Sunday after a massive three-homer game as the first baseman Saturday, leaving no room in the lineup for Kiner-Falefa. Even if Peguero is handed an everyday role at shortstop over the final two months of the season, Kiner-Falefa could retain playing time by shifting over to third base, where Pittsburgh has an opening after trading Ke'Bryan Hayes to Cincinnati.

Rocchio is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Rocchio will take a seat after he had started each of the Guardians' previous 24 games while slashing .287/.330/.475 with one home run, 15 RBI and nine runs. Daniel Schneemann will fill in at second base.

Pena (hamstring) will start at shortstop and bat leadoff in Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pena missed more than a month due to a small rib fracture before returning from the injured list Friday, only to exit the Astros' series-opening loss to the Red Sox early due to a right hamstring cramp. Fortunately for Pena, the setback appears to be a minor one, as he'll be back in action Sunday. After filling in at shortstop Saturday, the newly acquired Carlos Correa will shift back over to third base.

Atlanta returned Ornelas to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Ornelas was added to the big-league roster Saturday for Atlanta's matchup with the Reds in the MLB Speedway Classic in Bristol, Tenn., which was ultimately suspended in the first inning after a couple rain delays. With Atlanta needing an extra arm for the continuation of the game Sunday, right-hander Hurston Waldrep was called up from Triple-A to replace Ornelas as the team's 27th man.
