  • Trea Turner SS | PHI

Phillies' Trea Turner: Continues to rake in easy win

Turner went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored Sunday's 11-4 victory over Toronto.

It was the fourth multi-game of the month so far for Turner, who rapped his eighth extra-base hit of June. The All-Star shortstop has been a force atop the Phillies' lineup -- he's slashing .311/.374/.553 with 14 extra-base knocks, 16 RBI, 20 runs scored and nine stolen bases over his last 115 plate appearances (25 games). Turner has nine multi-hit efforts during that stretch, and he's recorded at least one hit in 19 of those contests.

  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Sizzling to begin June

Henderson went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Angels.

Henderson pushed his hitting streak to eight games, and he's now tallied at least one knock in 11 of his last 13 outings. The All-Star shortstop is batting a sizzling .383 this month, adding one homer, two doubles, five RBI, six runs scored and three stolen bases thus far. Henderson is already up to six multi-hit efforts in June.

  • J.P. Crawford SS | SEA

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Lifts grand slam Sunday

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and a walk in Sunday's 6-0 win over the Guardians.

Crawford dominated this three-game set versus Cleveland, going 7-for-11 with two extra-base hits and three walks. The shortstop had the biggest hit of Sunday's contest when he went deep for a second-inning grand slam that gave the Mariners a 5-0 lead at the time. Crawford is now batting .296 with an .824 OPS, six homers, 29 RBI, 30 runs scored, 10 doubles and four stolen bases over 68 games. He's hit well since late May, so he's in little danger of losing the leadoff spot any time soon.

  • Brady House SS | WAS

Nationals' Brady House: Set to join big club

The Nationals are expected to call up House from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Monday's series opener versus the Rockies, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

House has been on a heater at Triple-A, batting .365 with three home runs over 12 games in June. The 22-year-old is widely viewed as one of Washington's top hitting prospects, and on the season, he owns a .304/.353/.519 slash line with 13 home runs in 65 contests with Rochester. Jose Tena was sent down to Triple-A after the Nationals' 3-1 loss to Miami on Sunday, clearing the way for House to begin his time in the big leagues as the team's primary option at third base. House may need to get off to a good start with Washington to hold off Amed Rosario and Paul DeJong (orbital) for playing time at the hot corner over the balance of the season.

  • Reds' Elly De La Cruz: Homers in fourth straight contest

De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit.

De La Cruz has home runs in four straight contests and at least one hit in his last six -- he's gone 12-for-26 (.461) with six extra-base hits in that span. De La Cruz's recent hot stretch has boosted his slash line to .273/.352/.498 with 16 homers, 50 RBI, 57 runs scored and 20 stolen bases through 310 plate appearances this year.

  • Padres' Jose Iglesias: Picking up start at 3B

Iglesias will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

With Manny Machado getting a day out of the dirt and serving as the team's designated hitter, the Padres will have room in the infield for Iglesias, who picks up his second start in eight games. Iglesias is slashing just .244/.309/.285 over 138 plate appearances in his first season in San Diego, and playing time could remain scarce for the veteran while the Padres have all of their key infielders available.

  • Gabriel Arias SS | CLE

Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Hitting bench Sunday

Arias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Arias will cede his spot in the middle infield to Angel Martinez, who starts at second base while Daniel Schneemann covers shortstop. After he recently cobbled together a five-game hit streak, Arias has gone 0-for-8 with one walk and five strikeouts over his subsequent three starts.

  • Masyn Winn SS | STL

Cardinals' Masyn Winn: Getting rare off day

Winn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Winn started the previous 35 games but will hit the bench Sunday while in the midst of a 9-for-49 (.184 batting average) slump. Jose Barrero will take over at shortstop and bat ninth versus Milwaukee righty Quinn Priester.

  • Trevor Story SS | BOS

Red Sox's Trevor Story: Continues productive stretch

Story went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Story drove in a run with a fourth-inning double and then doubled and scored what turned out to be the game-winning run in the sixth. The two-hit game continued what has been a productive week for Story, who has gone 12-for-31 with five extra-base hits, nine RBI, two steals and six runs scored over the last seven contests, helping Boston to a 6-1 record. He'll bat cleanup Sunday, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com.

  • Josh H. Smith SS | TEX

Rangers' Josh Smith: On base three times in win

Smith went 2-for-5 with a walk, two doubles and two runs scored in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings victory over the White Sox.

Smith extended a multi-hit streak to six games (12-for-28), and he has scored nine runs during that stretch. He endured a fallow stretch over the second half of May (5-for-45, .111) but has kicked it back up in June, going 19-for-50 (.388) with four walks, six doubles, three home runs, eight RBI and 12 runs over 12 contests.
