Rojas, who is on the 60-day disabled list with a broken thumb, is expected to have his cast removed sometime next week, Tim Healey of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

This will mark the first big step in Rojas' recovery process after he underwent surgery last week to repair the fracture. Barring any setbacks, the 28-year-old is still eyeing a return right around the All-Star break. A firmer timetable for his return should become available as he returns to baseball activities.

Ahmed went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Pirates in 10 innings.

Ahmed has had quite the homestand thus far, despite appearing in only four of the Diamondbacks' last six games. He's had multi-hit efforts in two of his three starts and reached base twice Sunday while notching his first stolen base since April 20. Ahmed still looks like he'll primarily serve in a backup capacity at second base or shortstop while Chris Owings and Brandon Drury are healthy, but Owings' ability to swing over to the corner outfield should allow Ahmed to pick up a handful of starts most weeks.

Turner went a combined 1-for-8 with a two-run home run over the two games of Sunday's doubleheader loss to Philadelphia.

It was the shortstop's second home run in as many days, and he's now up to 13 extra-base hits (four home runs), six steals, 18 RBI and 21 runs for the campaign. His .248/.283/.442 slash line and 25.8 strikeout percentage are underwhelming marks, but leading off for the Nationals is a cushy virtual spot, and Turner boasts incredible upside with a reliable fantasy floor.

Crawford batted fifth and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Reds.

Sunday's marks in the run and RBI columns represented Crawford's firsts since returning from the disabled list May 11. His counting stats have been down this season due to a combination of a struggling San Francisco offense and missed time. Other than his lack of run production, the shortstop's .250 average and .157 isolated power rating are in line with his career averages.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI, a pair of runs and his sixth home run of the season in Sunday's loss to the Rockies.

A weekend at Coors Field has provided some relief for Seager's early-May slump, with the slugger tallying three extra-base hits and four RBI in four games against the Rockies. The 23-year-old is batting .283 on the season while ranking in the top three among shortstops in both homers (six) and RBI (21).

Ahmed will draw his second straight start at shortstop and bat seventh Sunday against the Pirates.

Ahmed logged his first career game with multiple home runs after taking PIrates starter Trevor Williams and closer Tony Watson deep for solo shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss. He will earn another starting nod, spelling Brandon Drury. With four homers already this season, Ahmed has equaled his total from all of 2016, but with the Diamondbacks infield at full health, it's uncertain if he'll be able to flash his burgeoning pop often enough to make waves outside of NL-only leagues.

Gordon will play second base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Braves.

Gordon had served as the Marlins' No. 9 hitter in the previous four contests, going 3-for-14 with two stolen bases during that span. While the demotion in the order didn't appear to ignite Gordon as a hitter, manager Don Mattingly evidently determined the Marlins missed Gordon's speed at the top of the lineup. Derek Dietrich, who had recorded hits in each of his three starts in the leadoff spot, will move down to No. 6 in the order to accommodate Gordon's move upward.

Swanson went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

After striking out on three straight changeups in his first at-bat against Edinson Volquez, Swanson made an adjustment and singled home what proved to be the winning run in the fourth inning on another cambio from Volquez. The young shortstop now has a modest five-game hitting streak, and despite his awful .169/.250/.229 line through 32 games the Braves remain confident that Swanson will turn things around in his first full major-league season.

Turner went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during Saturday's win over Philadelphia.

While Turner's .257/.297/.438 slash line doesn't jump off the page, he has 19 runs, 13 extra-base hits, 15 RBI and six stolen bases through just 25 games. Setting the table for a potent offense provides a high fantasy floor, and Turner's cross-category profile also presents tremendous upside.

Owings is not starting Saturday's game against the Pirates.

The Diamondbacks will opt to start Nick Ahmed at shortstop and send Owings to the bench Saturday night. Ahmed has yet to sit out consecutive games this season, so look for him to return to action for Sunday's outing versus Pittsburgh.
