Abrams went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Abrams picked up his first steal since May 15 versus Atlanta in this contest. His lack of running in that time has been a a result of his limited opportunities on the basepaths -- the shortstop is hitting just .175 (10-for-57) with three walks and five hit-by-pitches over his last 14 games, and six of his hits in that span have gone for extra bases. The 24-year-old is now slashing .273/.346/.486 with 10 steals, eight home runs, 19 RBI, 34 runs scored, 11 doubles and two triples through 46 games this season.

Bett (toe), who is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, said he's feeling better and expects to rejoin the starting lineup within the next couple days, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 32-year-old's absence from the lineup Sunday for a third straight game isn't surprising after he sustained a fracture in his left big toe Wednesday, but he doesn't appear likely to require a stint on the injured list. After sitting out all three games against the Yankees this weekend, Betts could be back in action during the upcoming four-game series versus the Mets, which begins Monday.

Allen (hand) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Allen had been held out of the lineup for the past two days due to swelling on the knuckle of his right middle finger after he was hit by a pitch Thursday. The two days off appear to have provided sufficient time for Allen to heal up. The 26-year-old sports a .243/.308/.271 slash line in 48 games this season.

Ortiz went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs and an RBI in Saturday's 17-7 win over the Phillies.

Ortiz's sixth-inning base hit snapped an 0-for-14 skid at the plate that dated back to Monday. While the 26-year-old has started in each of the last seven games and may not be in imminent danger of losing out on an everyday role in the middle infield, he's nonetheless been a major disappointment for fantasy managers who were expecting him to take a leap forward in his second full season in the big leagues. Ortiz is slashing just .179/.246/.240 on the season, with his .486 OPS placing him last in the majors among all players who have logged at least 150 plate appearances.

Tovar went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored Saturday against the Mets.

Tovar got the Rockies going offensively, popping a home run in the opening inning. It was his third long ball of the season but first since May 19. In that span, Tovar has hit a solid .273 with four RBI and seven runs scored across 12 games.

The Rockies designated Schunk for assignment Saturday.

The move corresponds with the Rockies selecting Keston Hiura's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque while optioning Michael Toglia to Triple-A. Schunk saw regular work with the Rockies in late April before landing on the 10-day injured list due to a groin injury. He made 11 major-league appearances for Colorado and went 6-for-28 with one double and a 27.6 percent strikeout rate over that span.

The Marlins reinstated Edwards (back) from the injured list Saturday.

Edwards won't be in the lineup for Saturday's game against San Francisco, but he is now fully healthy after sitting out since May 14 with a strained back. After a successful 2024 campaign, the 25-year-old has regressed a bit this year, slashing .263/.337/.292 through 194 plate appearances.

Allen (hand) is not in Atlanta's starting lineup against Boston on Saturday.

Allen will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he was struck in the hand by a pitch in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Phillies. Luke Williams will start at shortstop and bat ninth.

Adames went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 2-0 win over the Marlins.

Adames singled in the fourth inning before recording his first stolen base since April 30. The 29-year-old shortstop has struggled of late, slashing .139/.205/.194 with three RBI, two runs scored, a triple and a 30.8 percent strikeout rate across 39 plate appearances in his last 10 games. Overall, he owns a .209/.287/.332 slash line with 30 runs scored, 25 RBI, 16 extra-base hits -- including five homers -- three stolen bases and a 26.3 percent strikeout rate across 247 plate appearances this season.

Perdomo batted third and went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 9-7 loss to the Nationals.

Perdomo had made several appearances in the upper third of the batting order this season but only when Ketel Marte was injured or resting. With Marte back from a two-game absence due to an illness, Arizona manager Torey Lovullo made the call to leave Perdomo up in the order, per Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports. Perdomo's line when batting in the upper third of the order is .291/.393/.458 with seven doubles, five home runs and 24 RBI through 31 games.
