Winn out of the lineup for Wednesday's affair with the Yankees.

The 24-year-old will hit the bench for the series finale while JJ Wetherholt moves over to shortstop. Winn went 1-for-8 with a walk and a run scored in the first two tilts with the Yankees.

Turner went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.

Facing the team with which he debuted back in 2015, Turner produced his fourth multi-hit effort in the last six games as he continues to tear it up after the All-Star break. Over his last 17 contests, the star shortstop has broken out for a .343/.387/.671 slash line with 10 extra-base hits (three doubles, a triple and six homers), 11 RBI and 15 runs, although his one steal over that stretch is likely a mild disappointment for his fantasy investors.

Swanson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over the Dodgers.

This was Swanson's second consecutive multi-hit performance, and he took Tarik Skubal deep in the third inning for his 17th long ball of the season. The veteran shortstop is hitting .262 with a .712 OPS since the All-Star break, though this was his first homer in that span -- and first since July 1, snapping a homerless streak that extended for 25 games and 89 at-bats.

X-rays on Bogaerts' left foot came back negative following his removal from Tuesday's game against Arizona, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts left Tuesday's contest in the seventh inning after fouling a ball off his foot, but he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. He said after the game that he expects to be ready to play Wednesday, but the Padres could still decide to sit him as a precaution. If that ends up being the case, Sung-Mun Song would likely fill in as San Diego's shortstop.

Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Brewers.

Gonzalez led off the third inning with a home run, his third time going yard since joining the Pirates on July 11. He has taken over as Pittsburgh's primary shortstop since the All-Star break, starting nine of the team's last 11 games. While Gonzalez has flashed some power, he's also hitting just .178 in that 11-game span.

Bogaerts was removed from Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks with an apparent foot injury, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts fouled a ball off his foot during his plate appearance in the seventh inning. He was initially able to remain in the game but was lifted for a pinch runner after drawing a walk. He'll likely be sent in for imaging to determine whether he suffered a fracture, and the Padres may have more information on his status after the game.

King (oblique) has gone 4-for-11 with two doubles, one walk, four runs and two RBI in three games for Triple-A Rochester after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Thursday.

King missed just under a month while recovering from a left oblique strain. The 23-year-old shortstop has generated a .308/.386/.505 slash line with 10 home runs and nine stolen bases across 322 plate appearances at Triple-A this season.

The Giants selected Leonard's contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.

Leonard will grab one of the roster spots vacated following Monday's trade deadline. The 25-year-old has slashed .272/.361/.509 with 16 homers at the Triple-A level in 2026. Leonard has experience at every position other than pitcher and catcher, and he will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

Tovar went 4-for-4 with a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Monday's 13-9 loss to the Rays.

Tovar couldn't be stopped at the plate, logging a season-high four hits. The shortstop's solo homer in the third inning marked his first long ball since July 6, with the 25-year-old hitting a measly .098 in 17 games during the drought. It's been a challenging 2026 for Tovar, who's slashing .202/.247/.330 with nine homers, 36 RBI, 38 runs and five stolen bases across 104 contests.

Atlanta designated Mateo for assignment Monday.

Mateo has slashed .240/.285/.380 this season and has started only one game since the All-Star break. With Ha-Seong Kim (finger) returning from the injured list Monday, Atlanta has opted to drop Mateo from its 40-man roster.
