Wandy Asigen SS | NYM
Mets' Wandy Asigen: Debuts in DSL
Asigen (hamstring) was cleared to make his season debut with the Mets' Dominican Summer League affiliate Monday and has gone 0-for-3 with two walks through his first two games.
The 16-year-old shortstop was viewed as one of the top prospects in the international signing class this past January and received a $3.9 million signing bonus. Asigen missed the first month of the DSL campaign while recovering from a hamstring strain but should get plenty of at-bats under his belt before the season wraps up in mid-August.

Mookie Betts SS | LAD
Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Starting Thursday
Betts (wrist) will start at shortstop and bat fourth Thursday against the Padres, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Betts was a late scratch from the lineup for Wednesday's game due to wrist soreness, but it no longer seems to be bothering him ahead of Thursday's series opener. The 33-year-old is currently enjoying a seven-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 13-for-32 (.406) with three homers, nine RBI and five runs scored.

Ha-seong Kim SS | ATL
Braves' Ha-Seong Kim: On bench again Thursday
Kim is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Cardinals.
After handing Kim four straight starts, Atlanta has now had him on the bench for three consecutive contests. Jim Jarvis was promoted earlier Thursday and will draw the start at shortstop in the series finale.

Ezequiel Tovar SS | COL
Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Exiting starting nine
Tovar is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Marlins.
It's a routine day off for Tovar, who has been one of the worst-hitting regulars in baseball this season with an ugly .205/.249/.325 batting line. Willi Castro will cover shortstop and bat cleanup for Colorado.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Mets' Francisco Lindor: Goes yard again Wednesday
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Blue Jays.
The star shortstop has just four hits in 23 at-bats (.174) over six games since coming off the IL, but three of those knocks have gone for extra bases, including Lindor's ninth-inning shot off Patrick Corbin on Wednesday. Lindor's still trying to find his timing at the plate after missing two months due to a calf strain, but two long balls in the last three contests in an encouraging sign.

Jesus Made SS | MIL
Brewers' Jesus Made: Doing work at Double-A
Made has gone 23-for-53 (.434) with a home run, five doubles, a triple, 10 RBI, four stolen bases and a 5:9 BB:K over his last 13 games with Double-A Biloxi.
Made went through a bit of a slow stretch in early June, but since he has provided a reminder why he is one of the best -- if not the best -- prospects in the league. It's unclear how much the Brewers want to see from the 19-year-old before bumping him up to the Triple-A level, but his .291/.361/.435 slash line on the season suggests he could get there at some point this summer.

Konnor Griffin SS | PIT
Pirates' Konnor Griffin: Taking seat Thursday
Griffin is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Philadelphia.
Griffin will get a breather for Thursday's matinee after starting each of the previous four contests. Jared Triolo is grabbing a start at shortstop and will bat ninth in the series finale.
-
Jim Jarvis SS | ATL
Braves' Jim Jarvis: Back in big leagues
Atlanta recalled Jarvis from Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.
Jarvis has had a breakout season this year at Gwinnett, slashing .313/.406/.461 with six home runs, 32 stolen bases and a 46:55 BB:K over 76 games. He was up briefly with Atlanta in May, going 1-for-5 at the plate. Shortstop is Jarvis' main position, and he's expected to start there Thursday versus the Cardinals, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com. Jarvis would have some fantasy potential -- particularly in the stolen-base department -- if he receives regular playing time, but there's no guarantee that will happen.

Konnor Griffin SS | PIT
Pirates' Konnor Griffin: Swipes 16th bag
Griffin went 1-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base Wednesday against the Phillies.
Griffin hit atop the Pirates' order for the fifth time in the last six games since being activated from the injured list, and he also has reached base in all but one of those contests. On Wednesday, he collected a single in the third inning and proceeded to steal his 16th base of the season, and his second since being activated. Griffin's performance was mixed, however, as he also stranded two runners in scoring position.

Mookie Betts SS | LAD
Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Scratched Wednesday
Betts was scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics due to wrist soreness, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Manager Dave Roberts said that Betts' removal from the lineup was precautionary, so it doesn't seem like the 33-year-old is dealing with a significant injury. Miguel Rojas will fill in as Los Angeles' shortstop and bat eighth while Betts sits.
