Atlanta activated Kim (finger) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Kim had been shelved since July 4 due to right middle finger inflammation. He's gone just 5-for-73 (.068 average) in the majors this season and slashed an underwhelming .216/.355/.353 in 16 rehab contests. Jim Jarvis remains on the active roster and could continue to serve as Atlanta's primary shortstop over Kim.

Kent and Henry Lalane were traded from the Yankees to the Giants on Monday in exchange for Heliot Ramos, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Lalane is the headliner in the return for San Francisco. Kent, who has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury since July 5, has a .302/.359/.433 slash line with six home runs, 20 steals, a 16.1 percent strikeout rate and a 107 wRC+ in 76 games as a 22-year-old at High-A. He has played 41 games at shortstop, 25 games at second base and eight games at third base this year.

The Mets acquired Rojas from the Cubs on Monday in exchange for right-hander Clay Holmes (fibula) and outfielder Tyrone Taylor, Chelsea Janes of SNY.tv reports.

Considering Holmes is headed for free agency this winter and Taylor projects as a reserve outfielder, coughing up Rojas -- arguably the top prospect in the organization, albeit in a weak farm system -- is a hefty price for the Cubs to pay. The 21-year-old shortstop has shown a solid all-around skill set at Double-A Knoxville this season, chipping in 15 home runs and 17 stolen bases while maintaining a .270 average and 16.4 percent clip over 390 plate appearances.

Pratt is out of the lineup for Monday's game versus the Pirates.

Pratt appears to be receiving a routine day off after starting in each of the previous eight contests. The Brewers will go with Joey Ortiz at shortstop in Monday's series opener.

The Mets acquired Stafura from the Pirates on Monday in exchange for right-hander Luke Weaver and cash considerations, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Stafura will be on the move for the second trade deadline in a row, after the Pirates previously acquired him last July as part of the deal that sent third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes to Cincinnati. A 21-year-old shortstop, Stafura possess good range at the position but may need to eventually move down the positional spectrum to second base or center field. Stafura had been enjoying a strong season at the plate for High-A Greensboro, mashing 19 home runs and going 16-for-17 on stolen-base attempts while slashing .301/.365/.656 over 211 plate appearances.

The Marlins acquired Santana, infielder Brayden Taylor and right-hander Jacob Kisting from the Rays on Monday in exchange for catcher Liam Hicks, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

The 21-year-old Santana has hit .316/.381/.400 with three home runs, 23 stolen bases and a 19:23 BB:K over 51 contests with High-A Bowling Green this season. Santana was a first-round pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft and has been used mainly at shortstop in pro ball, though he's also gotten some work at second base.

The Marlins acquired Taylor, shortstop Adrian Santana and right-hander Jacob Kisting from the Rays on Monday in exchange for catcher Liam Hicks, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Taylor is the most well-regarded of the three prospects headed to Miami. A first-round selection in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, Taylor had a terrible 2025 campaign but has bounced back nicely in 2026, slashing .284/.384/.513 with 17 home runs, 20 stolen bases and a 51:87 BB:K over 88 games with Double-A Montgomery. The 24-year-old has mostly played third base in pro ball, but he has experience at second base and shortstop, as well.

The Mets acquired Spikerman and Luke Gabrysh from the Phillies on Monday in exchange for Brooks Raley, Jayson Stark of The Athletic reports.

Spikerman has slashed .260/.419/.340 with zero home runs, 18 stolen bases and a 26:30 BB:K over 30 games this season with High-A Jersey Shore. The 23-year-old speedster is capable of playing all three outfield spots.

The Mets acquired Pitre, right-hander Gary Gill Hill and outfielder Aidan Smith from the Rays on Sunday in exchange for right-hander Freddy Peralta, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

The 23-year-old second baseman doesn't offer much power, but Pitre has shown outstanding plate discipline (18.2 percent walk rate, 10.4 percent strikeout rate) and has racked up 32 stolen bases in 44 attempts across 384 plate appearances between High-A Bowling Green and Double-A Montgomery this season. He'll likely report to the Mets' Eastern League affiliate in Binghamton.

Perdomo went 4-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 12-8 win over the Guardians.

Perdomo tallied his first four-hit effort of the campaign, giving the Diamondbacks a lead they wouldn't relinquish on a solo shot in the seventh inning. The shortstop has now hit safely in five of his past six games, going deep twice with five RBI and six runs scored during that stretch. On the year, he's slashing .238/.355/.366 with nine homers, 41 RBI, 54 runs scored and 17 steals across 464 plate appearances.
