Anderson (13-2) took the defeat Sunday in Kansas City, allowing three runs on seven hits, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out four in six innings.

Anderson allowed a run to score in the first, third and sixth innings. He managed to navigate other trouble as he left a runner in scoring position in four of his six frames. It was just the second loss of the season for the lefty. He has seven quality starts in his last eight outings and has compiled a 2.15 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB with two homers allowed in 50.1 innings in that span. His next start will likely be at the end of the week against Miami.

Feltner (2-4) took the loss during Sunday's 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Diamondbacks, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 4.1 innings.

Making a second turn through the rotation, Feltner surrendered four runs early as a result of a Christian Walker double and 460-foot three-run home run before permitting two more runs on a double and an error in the fourth inning. The 25-year-old has allowed five earned runs in consecutive starts and has given up 14 total runs across 13.2 innings in three starts this month. He carries a 6.39 ERA and 1.48 WHIP into his next start, scheduled for next weekend against San Francisco.

Wheeler (11-6) allowed six runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out five and taking a loss against the Mets.

Wheeler had given up just five runs over his previous four starts after yielding six runs against Toronto on July 13. Most of the damage against him Sunday came during a four-run fourth inning highlighted by James McCann's two-run single. Wheeler still owns an impressive 2.92 ERA with a 142:29 K:BB through 22 starts. The 32-year-old righty is projected for a rematch with the Mets at home next week.

Bassitt (10-7) allowed four hits and two walks over five scoreless frames Sunday, striking out five and earning a win over the Phillies.

Bassitt has now gone three consecutive starts (20 innings) without giving up an earned run, lowering his season ERA from 3.83 to 3.27 in the process. He faced a bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning Sunday but escaped without taking any damage. The 33-year-old is now sporting a 134:36 K:BB through 135 innings on the year. Bassitt is projected to take the mound in Philadelphia next week.

Henry (2-1) earned the win during Sunday's 7-4 victory over Colorado, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 5.1 innings.

Henry breezed through five frames -- retiring 10 straight Rockies at one point -- before permitting four baserunners and all three runs in the sixth, prompting his removal. The 25-year-old fired 61 of 89 pitches for strikes but induced only four of the swinging variety and has struck out three batters in each of his three turns. Henry has now tallied consecutive wins and possesses a 4.15 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 17.1 innings.

Wright is dealing with right arm fatigue and won't start in the first three games of the upcoming series against the Mets, which begins Monday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Wright allowed one earned run across six innings during his previous start Aug. 10 in Boston, and he'll have his scheduled turn through the rotation pushed back by at least a couple days. Atlanta has yet to announce a starter for Thursday's series finale, though it remains to be seen if the 26-year-old will be cleared to take the mound. Spencer Strider, Charlie Morton and Jake Odorizzi will start the first three games of the series versus New York.

Elder was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett after striking out 10 across seven innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday. He allowed one run on three hits and three walks.

The 23-year-old was called up during Saturday's doubleheader and made a spot start Sunday for Atlanta, and the rookie delivered his best outing in the majors by a significant margin. Overall this year, Elder has a 4.45 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 24:17 K:BB over 28.1 innings, and he should remain in the mix for a call-up down the stretch if Atlanta needs another spot starter.

The Phillies are promoting Painter from High-A Jersey Shore to Double-A Reading on Sunday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The 19-year-old, who is the Phillies' top prospect, was promoted to Jersey Shore in early June and allowed three runs over three innings during his first start, but he surrendered only one earned run with a 45:4 K:BB over his next seven outings to earn the bump up to Reading. Painter's workload has been limited for much of the season, but he pitched at least six frames in each of his last three starts at High-A. The right-hander's move to Double-A will be a significant test after dominating during his brief time in the lower minors.

Pepiot is listed as the Dodgers' scheduled starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee.

Pepiot will again fill the spot in the rotation that belonged to Clayton Kershaw (back), after the rookie previously covered 4.1 innings and surrendered four earned runs on five hits and three walks in last Wednesday's game against the Twins. The Dodgers may not have a spot available for Pepiot beyond Tuesday, however; Dustin May (elbow) is scheduled to make what should be his final minor-league rehab start Sunday, putting him on track to return from the 60-day injured list next weekend.

Overton (back) will throw a bullpen session in the near future, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Overton's back injury has confined him to the sidelines since May, but he is on the verge of taking an important step in his recovery. Barring any setbacks, Overton will have a chance to rejoin Cincinnati's bullpen before the season comes to a close.
