Pepiot is listed as the Dodgers' scheduled starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee.

Pepiot will again fill the spot in the rotation that belonged to Clayton Kershaw (back), after the rookie previously covered 4.1 innings and surrendered four earned runs on five hits and three walks in last Wednesday's game against the Twins. The Dodgers may not have a spot available for Pepiot beyond Tuesday, however; Dustin May (elbow) is scheduled to make what should be his final minor-league rehab start Sunday, putting him on track to return from the 60-day injured list next weekend.

Overton (back) will throw a bullpen session in the near future, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Overton's back injury has confined him to the sidelines since May, but he is on the verge of taking an important step in his recovery. Barring any setbacks, Overton will have a chance to rejoin Cincinnati's bullpen before the season comes to a close.

Falter is scheduled to start one of the two games in the Phillies' doubleheader against the Mets on Aug. 20, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Falter has started seven games for the Phillies this season, and his eighth start is set to come next weekend. Falter has faced the Mets twice this season and has allowed six runs (three earned) over 5.0 innings against them.

Ashcraft (5-3) took the loss against the Cubs on Saturday, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits while striking out four and walking three over 6.1 innings.

Ashcraft threw 65 of 102 pitches for strikes in Saturday's contest, and he struggled to keep runners of the basepaths, resulting in three earned runs across 6.1 frames. The righty has allowed four or more hits in all but one of his 15 games this season, resulting in 92 hits across 86.1 innings to go along with 56 strikeouts. Despite the three-run outing, Ashcraft picked up a quality start, his second of the month and his eighth of the season. He will take a 3.96 ERA into his next outing.

Nola (8-9) gave up one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out eight over eight innings to take the loss in a 1-0 defeat to the Mets on Saturday.

Nola performed very well in Saturday night's pitching duel with Jacob deGrom, but he was saddled with the tough loss despite giving up only one run over eight dominant innings. The only damage came on a Pete Alonso RBI single in the first to score Starling Marte, who had stolen second and advanced to third on a throwing error by the catcher. Nola is in the midst of his best season since 2018 and boasts a superb WHIP of 0.93 while striking out over a batter per inning. He is expected to make his next start in a rematch at home against the Mets.

DeGrom (2-0) gave up two hits and no walks while striking out 10 over six shutout innings to earn the win in a 1-0 victory over the Phillies on Saturday.

DeGrom was his usual dominant self in Saturday night's pitching duel against Aaron Nola. He racked up the 10 strikeouts on 19 swinging strikes by peppering the zone with his hard fastball and mixing in a heavy dose of his nasty slider. The scoreless appearance drops his ERA to 1.62 over three starts during this injury-shortened season. The 34-year-old right-hander now has 28 strikeouts in 16.2 innings pitched and has walked only one batter. It is worth seeing if he can continue to increase his workload from the 76 pitches he threw against the Phillies. He is tentatively expected to make his next start at Atlanta.

Darvish (10-6) took the loss against Washington on Saturday, pitching six-plus innings and allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out nine batters.

Darvish cruised through five scoreless frames before serving up a pair of sixth-inning homers that resulted in three runs. He came back out for the seventh and allowed a leadoff single to Cesar Hernandez before being pulled. When Hernandez eventually came around to score, Washington took the lead and Darvish was tagged with the loss. Despite the disappointing outcome, it was Darvish's 15th straight start in which he has completed at least six innings. He's posted a 2.93 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 109:16 K:BB over 101.1 innings during that stretch.

Matz (knee) has begun a throwing program, which included flat-ground throwing prior to Saturday's game, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Denton adds Matz remains optimistic that he'll return before the end of the season. He's still early in the rehab process, so Matz isn't expected back before September at the earliest due to a torn MCL in his left knee. A clearer picture of his recovery timeline should emerge once he begins to face hitters.

Luzardo (3-5) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six across five innings to take the loss in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Atlanta.

Luzardo worked three scoreless innings but allowed five batters to reach base in the fourth frame -- resulting in three earned runs. He also served up a solo home run to Matt Olson, the only long ball he's surrendered across 17 innings since returning from the injured list on Aug 1. Despite the relatively poor outing Saturday, Luzardo has maintained a 3.18 ERA and 17:3 K:BB in that span.

Anderson was returned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.

Anderson started the second game of Atlanta's doubleheader against the Marlins and earned his 10th win of the season. He allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four across six innings. Anderson has allowed two or fewer earned runs five times in his last seven starts but has served up seven and four earned runs in the other two starts. He's likely to be back in Atlanta's rotation at some point prior to the close of the regular season.
