Webb (11-5) earned the win Saturday over the Pirates. He allowed five hits and two walks while striking out nine over eight shutout innings.

Webb was efficient, throwing 65 of 99 pitches for strikes in his best start of the season. Since getting roughed up by the Dodgers on Aug. 1, Webb has won his last two starts, allowing just two runs, nine hits and five walks across 15 innings in those appearances. The right-hander's gem Saturday lowered his ERA to 3.00 with a 1.13 WHIP and 124:39 K:BB through 150 innings across 24 starts this year. He's projected for a home start versus the Diamondbacks next week.

Gallen (8-2) earned the win Saturday over the Rockies. He allowed two hits and one walk while striking out six over seven shutout innings.

Gallen's won four of his last five starts, and three of them have featured the right-hander spinning seven scoreless frames. It's the second time in four starts he's blanked the Rockies this year. Gallen has given up three runs, 11 hits and six walks while striking out 19 through 19.2 innings in August. He owns a 2.94 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 120:35 K:BB through 125.1 innings this year, and he'll look to keep his momentum up next week in a projected road start versus the Giants.

Urena (1-4) allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five across six innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Diamondbacks.

Urena allowed multiple home runs for the second straight start. Emmanuel Rivera tagged him for a pair of solo shots while Josh Rojas added a two-run blast to account for the four runs on his line. Urena hasn't shown much over his last five outings, yielding 25 runs (21 earned) across 24.1 innings. He has a 4.80 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 27:26 K:BB through 50.2 innings in 12 outings (eight starts) between the Rockies and the Brewers this year. Urena is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Giants next week.

Wainwright allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out eight in nine innings, but he took a no-decision versus the Brewers on Saturday.

Wainwright turned in a vintage performance, throwing 109 pitches (71 strikes) while dueling with Brewers ace Corbin Burnes for much of the game. Wainwright's lone mistake was a Luis Urias solo home run in the eighth inning, but the Cardinals didn't give their pitcher enough run support, denying him a win despite the stellar outing. The 40-year-old right-hander has turned in three quality starts in his last four games, and he lowered his ERA to 3.27 with a 1.19 WHIP and 116:39 K:BB through 143.1 innings across 23 starts overall. Wainwright will hope for better help in his next start, currently projected to be a road date in Arizona next week.

Elder will start Sunday's game against the Marlins, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Elder was recalled prior to the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Marlins. He has recently thrown in long relief at the big-league level, though he had consistently worked at least six innings with Triple-A Gwinnett. He should have a good chance to work five innings -- pending his effectiveness -- as a result. Across 21.1 innings in the majors this season, Elder has maintained a 5.48 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 14:14 K:BB.

Burnes allowed a run on four hits and struck out six without walking a batter in seven innings, but he took a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Saturday.

Burnes engaged in a pitchers' duel with Adam Wainwright for much of the contest, with each starter allowing just one run late in their respective outings. Over his last two starts, Burnes has given up two runs, six hits and two walks while striking out 15 in 13 innings. The right-hander continues to impress in 2022 with a 2.39 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 181:38 K:BB through 143 innings across 23 starts overall. He's projected for another tough matchup next week at home versus the Dodgers.

Heaney is expected to make his next start after exiting Saturday's game against the Royals with a bruise on his left arm, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Heaney exited Saturday's start after three innings due to taking a liner off his arm. However, he appears to have avoided a serious injury and remains in line to make his next start -- currently projected to come next week at Milwaukee. Heaney allowed two runs on three hits and struck out five without walking a batter before his early exit.

Heaney exited Saturday's start against the Royals after three innings due to a left arm contusion, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Heaney took a liner off his arm, which cut his outing short. He allowed two earned runs on three hits and struck out five. Though he wasn't overly effective prior to his exit, Heaney was in line for a comfortable win as the Dodgers were up 10-2. Positively, it doesn't appear that there is structural damage to Heaney's arm, so it's likely he'll avoid a lengthy absence.

May (elbow) will return from the injured list to start Aug. 20 against the Marlins, according to May's agent, Craig Rose.

May is set to make his final rehab start Sunday, so there was a general idea of when he would be activated and start in the majors. He threw five innings and 68 pitches in his most recent rehab outing, so while the team is likely to be cautious, May probably won't have an extremely restrictive pitch count for his season debut with the Dodgers.

Megill (shoulder) will throw a 15-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Megill's bullpen session will be his first since landing on the injured list in mid-June. Although he won't throw many pitches Sunday, he presumably won't require too much time to build back up since he's slated to pitch out of the bullpen once he's healthy. It's possible that he'll be back in action in late August or early September.
