Williams (3-4) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk across five innings in a 6-2 win over Atlanta. He struck out six.

Williams snapped a two-game losing streak with five sharp innings against Atlanta's prolific offense. The right-hander is still struggling with the long ball and has given up seven home runs over his past five starts, but he did correct his recent command concerns, allowing just one walk Sunday after issuing 10 free passes over his previous three outings. Overall, Williams holds a 4.11 ERA and a 52:10 K:BB across 13 appearances (65.2 innings) and has a steady spot in Washington's rotation.

Gallen did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing five runs on 10 hits and two walks over 5.2 innings against the Tigers. He struck out five.

Gallen surrendered a season-high 10 hits Sunday after allowing nine in his last outing against Atlanta. However, unlike his previous start, Gallen couldn't limit the damage against Detroit as four of their hits went for extra bases, including a Zach McKinstry two-run homer. The 27-year-old Gallen came into the day with a 2.04 ERA in his previous three outings. He's now 7-2 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 93:19 K:BB across 14 starts (84.1 innings) this season.

Wood (back) could return from the 15-day injured list to make a start during the Giants' series in Los Angeles versus the Dodgers next weekend, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Wood will make his second rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, and though he's expected to cover around only 50 pitches in the outing, that might be enough for the Giants to have him make his subsequent start with the big club. Whenever Wood makes his return from the IL, it would be a welcome development for a Giants squad that will be doing a bullpen day for the second straight game Sunday.

Pirates general manager Ben Cherington said Sunday that Contreras is being moved to the bullpen, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports. "[Contreras has] just gotten himself in a situation where he's not in his best form," Cherington said.

Contreras' move to the bullpen comes after he recorded just one out while seeing his ERA jump from 4.82 to 5.91 in Wednesday's loss to Oakland. The Pirates could still look to revisit moving Contreras back to the rotation at some point in 2023, but with a move to the bullpen on tap, the right-hander can safely be ignored in most redraft fantasy formats for the foreseeable future. The Pirates plan to call up a starter from Triple-A Indianapolis to fill Contreras' turn in the rotation during Pittsburgh's upcoming series with the Cubs this week.

The Rockies transferred Senzatela (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Senzatela has been on the 15-day IL since May after he suffered a UCL sprain in his right elbow, and his move to the 60-day IL allows the Rockies to open a spot on their 40-man roster. Infielder Coco Montes was called up from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move. Senzatela will be sidelined at least through the All-Star break.

Rogers (biceps) could make a rehab start early next week for Triple-A Jacksonville if he receives positive medical results Sunday, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.

Rogers was scratched from his rehab start Saturday for Jacksonville due to discomfort in his non-throwing shoulder. The left-hander has been on the shelf since the middle of April because of biceps soreness, and he appears to be on the precipice of rejoining the Miami rotation. If Rogers can return to the mound for Jacksonville early next week, his next outing after that could come with Miami.

Irvin won't start Tuesday's series opener in Houston and will instead have his next turn in the rotation skipped, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

Washington will take advantage of Monday's off day to move up at least three of their other four starters while pushing Irvin to the back of the schedule. Patrick Corbin, Josiah Gray and MacKenzie Gore will all pick up starts in Houston, leaving Irvin's next start to come either Friday or Saturday versus the Marlins in Washington. According to Andrew Golden of The Washington Post, manager Dave Martinez said that pushing Irvin's next start back will allow the rookie right-hander to make some mechanical adjustments in bullpen sessions.

Teheran did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over seven innings against the Athletics. He struck out six.

Teheran posted season highs in innings completed and strikeouts but still couldn't pick up a win, as Oakland's pitching staff stymied Milwaukee's offense. The right-hander has been stellar through four starts after signing with the Brewers at the end of May, posting a 1.48 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 24.1 innings, but he has just one win to show for his efforts. Milwaukee's rotation continues to be banged up, so Teheran should get plenty of opportunities moving forward, especially if he continues to pitch the way he did Saturday. His next start is is tentatively scheduled for a three-game weekend set versus the Pirates.

Smith-Shawver is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday versus the Tigers in Detroit, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The 20-year-old rookie will receive a second turn through the rotation after he held his own during his first MLB start this past Friday versus the Nationals, covering 5.1 innings and striking out two while allowing two unearned runs on three hits and two walks. Due to Smith-Shawver's age, Atlanta will almost certainly manage his innings to some degree this season, but he should have some stability in the big-league rotation while Max Fried (forearm) and Kyle Wright (shoulder) are both likely several weeks away from returning from the injured list.

Nola (5-5) took the loss Saturday, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks over 6.1 innings against the Dodgers. He struck out seven.

Nola surrendered a season-high six runs but still completed at least six innings for an 11th straight start and posted seven or more strikeouts for the fourth time this year. The veteran right-hander's less-than-ideal 4.60 ERA clouds the fact that his WHIP (1.10) and K:BB (84:23) are very solid through 14 starts (88 innings). Regardless, it's still been a disappointing beginning to the campaign for Nola, who finished 2022 with a 3.25 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 235:29 K:BB across 32 appearances (205 innings).
