Skenes (5-0) earned the win against the Mets on Friday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over seven innings.

Skenes surrendered a solo home run in the third inning and another run in the fourth but was otherwise fantastic. According to The Athletic, he is the first pitcher in major-league history to record seven or more strikeouts in nine of his first 10 career starts. The rookie has not lost a game this season and owns a 2.12 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 78:12 K:BB over 59.1 innings. He lines up for a road matchup with the Brewers next week.

Manager Torey Lovullo said Friday that Montgomery (knee) will begin throwing off flat ground Saturday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Lovullo noted that Montgomery is still dealing with a bit of inflammation in his right knee, but the team believes he'll be in good enough condition to throw. Assuming all goes well Saturday, the 31-year-old southpaw will likely be given the green light to begin throwing off a mound within the next several days.

Hall (knee) will make one more rehab start with Triple-A Nashville, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Hall's latest rehab start in Triple-A was cut short after three innings due to a rain delay, preventing him reaching his target number of innings. He'll remain in the minors for another turn through the rotation as a result, lowering his chances of rejoining the Brewers ahead of the All-Star break. It remains unclear whether the 25-year-old southpaw will be added to Milwaukee's rotation or head to the bullpen once he returns.

The Dodgers will call up Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Sunday's game versus the Brewers, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Wrobleski was promoted to Triple-A in mid-June after posting a 3.06 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in 67.2 innings with Double-A Tulsa. He's given up five earned runs in 10.1 frames since reporting to Oklahoma City, and he's now slated to make his MLB debut in a spot start Sunday in order to give the rest of Los Angeles' rotation an extra day of rest. The 23-year-old southpaw will be matched up against a Brewers offense that ranks seventh in the majors in runs scored (422) and 10th in OPS (.732).

Winn (elbow) is scheduled to throw a live bullpen session Saturday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Winn landed on the injured list June 22 due to a nerve issue in his right elbow. Saturday's bullpen is a positive step for the 26-year-old righty, but his rehab program will likely keep him out of major-league action until after the All-Star break. Winn has a 3-8 record over 12 starts with a 7.16 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 48:20 K:BB across 55.1 innings this season.

Steele (1-3) earned the win against the Angels on Friday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts over nine innings.

Steele needed just 95 pitches to toss his first career complete game. The only blemish was an RBI single by Taylor Ward in the fifth, but the lefty responded by retiring 13 consecutive batters to seal his much overdue first win of the year. The 29-year-old has logged six straight quality starts and owns a 2.95 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 77:18 K:BB over 79.1 innings this season. He lines up for a road matchup with the Orioles next week.

Jones will be shut down for two weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 right lat strain, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Jones will be re-evaluated after those two weeks before the next steps of his rehab are determined. The rookie right-hander suffered the injury during his last start Wednesday against the Cardinals and was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday. Given the ramp-up that will be required after the shutdown period, it seems safe to rule Jones out for at least the remainder of July.

The Marlins optioned Tyler to Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday.

Tyler had made three straight starts with the Marlins, allowing five runs across 15.0 innings with nine strikeouts. However, the 27-year-old will give up his spot on the active roster to Bryan Hoeing (hamstring), who'll be activated from the IL to start Friday's game against the White Sox.

Gray (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Gray hasn't pitched since April due to a flexor strain in his throwing arm and will vacate his spot on the 40-man roster in favor of Juan Yepez. Gray suffered a setback during his rehab assignment and will be shut down from throwing for at least a few weeks. He's set to undergo an MRI near the All-Star break, at which point there should be more clarity on his recovery timeline.

Buehler has resumed throwing and appears to be fully recovered from the right hip inflammation that resulted in his placement on the 15-day injured list June 19, but manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that the right-hander is without a clear timeline for a return, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Buehler hasn't been with the Dodgers this week following the team's return from its road trip, as Roberts noted that the right-hander is conducting his throwing program "offsite." More specifically, Ardaya relays that Buehler has been throwing both at the Dodgers' spring facility in Arizona and at a private facility in Florida. While the fact that Buehler isn't being shut down from activity can be taken as a positive sign, he's seemingly unlikely to return from the IL until after the All-Star break. The Dodgers may be keen on giving Buehler an extended break since he had struggled to bounce back from the second Tommy John surgery of his career before landing on the shelf. In his eight starts since being cleared to make his 2024 Dodgers debut in early May, Buehler has posted a 5.84 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 37 innings.
