Melancon (elbow) is headed to the disabled list again with a right pronator strain, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Melancon missed time in the middle of May with this same exact injury, but was able to return as soon as he was eligible. Although he didn't miss much time initially, it's concerning that the right-hander suffered the injury for a second time in about a month's time on the mound. Melancon will see doctors and get an MRI on Wednesday, which will give the team a timetable for his return. In his place, Dan Slania was recalled while Sam Dyson is set to take over as closer for San Francisco in his stead.

Rodney was credited with his second win of the season Tuesday during the Diamondbacks' 6-5 victory over the Cardinals in 10 innings. He retired the side in the top half of the inning and notched a strikeout.

Rodney hasn't seen a save situation come his way since June 18, but the win is a nice consolation for the fantasy owners that haven't gotten much production from the veteran reliever over the past week. The perfect frame also extended Rodney's streak of allowing no earned runs to 18.2 innings, which has extinguished any talk of him surrendering the closing gig.

Sewald provided three innings of scoreless relief in Tuesday's loss to the Marlins, giving up two hits and striking out three.

The 27-year-old rookie has been a little too prone to blowups to be a reliable fantasy asset, but Sewald's 39:9 K:BB in 32.1 innings is strong and his 3.01 FIP and 3.68 xFIP suggest his 4.45 ERA is due to more than a little bad luck. Expect him to continue working in low-leverage situations moving forward.

Hoffman gave up two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six over 6.2 innings in a no-decision against the Giants on Tuesday.

He was in line for the win when he exited the game, but the Rockies' bullpen squandered the lead and San Francisco ended up winning in 14 innings. Regardless, it was a strong bounce-back effort for Hoffman, who was rocked for nine earned runs against the Diamondbacks at Coors Field his last time out. Most will want to avoid him at home after that disaster, but Hoffman has appeal in a wide variety of formats as a matchups-based play.

Iglesias pitched a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to pick up his 13th save of the season in an 8-6 win over the Brewers.

His last save came back on June 8, as Iglesias hasn't gotten a lot of work this month for a struggling Reds squad. His 1.69 ERA and 45:16 K:BB in 37.1 innings suggest the right-hander could be an elite fantasy closer if he were pitching for a better team and got more opportunities.

Adleman (5-4) coughed up five runs on five hits -- including three home runs -- and three walks while striking out seven over five innings in Tuesday's 8-6 win over the Brewers.

It wasn't pretty, but on a night when the two offenses combined for seven homers, Adleman took advantage of his run support and held on just long enough to qualify for a win. The 29-year-old has now walked multiple batters and given up at least one home run in six straight starts, a combination that makes him a ratio risk for any fantasy GM who dares to plug him into their active lineup. His next start comes Sunday at home against the Cubs.

Gsellman exited Tuesday's game against the Marlins with a left hamstring strain, David Lennon of Newsday reports.

Gsellman strained his hamstring while attempting to beat out a groundball in the fourth inning and is now sure to be added to the lengthy list of Mets' pitchers who have been forced to make a trip to the disabled list this season. The team will likely make a decision regarding his status in the very near future.

Weigel (elbow) underwent Tommy John surgery Tuesday, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.

Weigel recently suffered a torn ligament in his throwing elbow and has opted to end his season and undergo full Tommy John surgery. He'll look to hopefully make his comeback sometime during the 2018 season.

Gsellman exited Tuesday's game against Marlins after three innings with an apparent hamstring injury, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Gsellman appeared to injure his left hamstring while attempting to beat out an infield single in the top of the fourth inning. He was immediately attended to by the team trainer before limping into the Mets' dugout. The 23-year-old allowed three runs on five hits, while adding four strikeouts over the opening three frames before being relieved by Paul Sewald. We will await official word on his injury following the conclusion of Tuesday's contest.

Ortiz (hamstring) returned from the disabled list Monday and tossed 3.2 innings in a game with Double-A Biloxi.

Ortiz missed nearly three weeks due to his injury, but he was able to get back on the mound Monday and throw 60 pitches. Ortiz owns a 3.14 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 54:24 K:BB over 12 starts with Biloxi this season.
