Alzolay is slated to start Monday's game against the Pirates, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

Alzolay appears set to keep his spot in the rotation over Tyler Chatwood after turning in back-to-back strong outings. While his workload has been restricted in both appearances (one start), Alzolay has given the Cubs 8.2 quality innings, yielding only two runs and striking out nine. He'll likely have his pitch count bumped up Monday.

In the wake of Michael Lorenzen getting the save Friday night, Reds manager David Bell said that the team will mix-and-match in future save situations, John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The Reds might go away from using Iglesias as an "ace reliever" due to so many high-profile struggles by him in those situations. In non-save situations he has a 6.28 ERA, but that only leaves him with fewer chances to pitch altogether if he's not exclusively the closer.

Dominguez (elbow) will be reevaluated Thursday and could resume throwing shortly thereafter, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Dominguez has been out with a UCL injury in his right elbow since early June, but he was able to avoid Tommy John surgery for the time being and still has prospects of pitching again this season. The 24-year-old won't have an official timeline for his return until he actually resumes throwing, but a return in July at this point appears optimistic.

Robertson (elbow) threw about 20 pitches in a bullpen session Sunday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.

It's Robertson's first bullpen session since he landed on the injured list with the flexor strain in mid-April, and he still has significant work to do in building up his velocity. The 34-year-old has another session scheduled for Wednesday, and if all goes well, he could return to the Phillies toward the end of July.

Pomeranz tossed five scoreless innings while giving up five hits, two walks and striking out seven Saturday, but did not factor into the decision in a 4-3 loss to Arizona.

Pomeranz followed up his 11-strikeout performance with another strong -- albeit short -- outing. The 30-year-old needed 103 pitches (66 for strikes) to complete his five frames. High pitch counts have been a recurring theme for Pomeranz, as he has pitched five or fewer innings in all but one of his 15 starts this season. The veteran southpaw won't do much for owners in leagues that county quality starts, but he has pitched well over his last five contests (3.33 ERA and 12.6 K/9). Pomeranz will look to continue his recent success in a home matchup against the Cardinals on Friday.

Ponce de Leon pitched 5.1 innings of relief in Saturday's 12-2 loss to the Padres, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out nine.

Ponce de Leon came into the game with the Cardinals down 7-1, and they never mustered enough offense to get the 27-year-old in position for a decision. It's the first relief appearance of the season for the right-hander, who now has a 2.66 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 25 strikeouts through 20.1 innings. He's expected to be used as a reliever while in the big leagues, but he may draw the occasional spot start if manager Mike Shildt needs to rest one of his starters.

Hudson (6-4) allowed seven runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk over 1.2 innings in a 12-2 loss to the Padres on Saturday. He struck out two.

It was the shortest start of the season for Hudson, who had allowed more than five runs only twice in 15 starts entering the game. Luckily, his ERA went mostly undamaged, rising only to 3.40 with a 1.51 WHIP in 87.1 innings this year. The 24-year-old right-hander will look to get back on track versus the Giants on Friday.

Hader struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 20th save of the season in a 3-1 win over the Pirates.

The southpaw has now reeled off eight straight scoreless appearances, posting a typically dominant 20:4 K:BB in 11.1 innings over that stretch. Hader has only blown one save so far this season, and his 1.77 ERA and 17.04 K/9 continue to put him among the league's elite relievers.

Voth allowed three runs on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts across 4.1 innings in a no-decision against the Tigers on Saturday.

The Nationals gave their spot starter a three-run lead in the fourth inning, but it was gone by the end of the fifth when Voth departed. He wasn't as sharp in this outing, and the Nationals have lost both of his starts, but Voth owns a 4.35 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 10 strikeouts in 10.1 innings across two major-league appearances. He probably pitched well enough to earn another start, and if so, Voth will pitch again Friday at home against the Royals.

Young will not start Wednesday's game versus the Dodgers, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

Manager Torey Lovullo previously said Young was being considered to start Wednesday's contest in Los Angeles, but the team will instead turn to Merrill Kelly. Young pitched well in his major-league debut Thursday with only one run allowed over five innings, but it's now unclear when he'll next take the mound.
