  • Riley Adams C | WAS

Nationals' Riley Adams: Receiving breather Sunday

Adams is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Drew Millas will get the nod at catcher Sunday, but Adams should dominate the playing time at the position until Ruiz is activated.

Braxton Fulford will handle catching duties for Colorado on Sunday.

  • Mitch Garver DH | SEA

Mariners' Mitch Garver: Back in action Sunday

  • Padres' Martin Maldonado: Getting breather Sunday

Maldonado is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Stephenson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against San Diego.

Stephenson started the previous nine games but will hit the bench Sunday while in the midst of an 0-for-12 slump. Jose Trevino will work behind the plate and bat seventh in the series finale versus the Padres.
