Rosario went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a loss to Detroit on Monday.

With Ryan McMahon getting the day off, Rosario started at third base and batted leadoff. He produced the bulk of New York's runs with a two-run blast in the seventh inning. Rosario has started at the hot corner three of the past four times the Yankees have faced a southpaw starter, so he seems to be in the short side of a platoon with McMahon at the moment.

Mayo went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's 6-1 win over the Angels.

Mayo went deep in the fourth inning to put the Orioles up 4-0. The infielder has hit five homers over his last 18 games, but he doesn't have a multi-hit effort in that span. For the season, he's batting just .190 with a .636 OPS, 10 homers, 30 RBI, 27 runs scored, seven doubles and a stolen base over 62 contests. He was in the lineup for a fourth straight game, but he'll need to show some extended consistency at the plate to avoid slipping back into a timeshare once the Orioles get some key players back from injuries.

Alexander exited Monday's game against the Angels early due to a muscle contusion, Andy Kostka of TheBanner.com reports.

Alexander's Monday night was cut short after fouling a ball off his knee which resulted in a knee contusion in the top of the second. When the 27-year-old was on the bench before going out for defense in the bottom of the third, he felt his knee lock up. Leody Taveras replaced Alexander at third base until he was moved to center field in the bottom of the eighth.

Okamoto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in Monday's 4-2 win over the Astros.

Okamoto accounted for Toronto's first run of the game when he took Hunter Brown deep to lead off the second inning. He later added a double in the seventh inning as part of the rally that put the Jays in the lead for good. The homer was his 17th of the season and his fourth in the last nine games. The slugger has been very productive lately, hitting .297 with an .955 OPS during the month of June. On the season, Okamoto is slashing .234/.316/.460, though his lofty 32.3 percent strikeout rate continues to cap his offensive profile.

Alexander left Monday's game against the Angels early due to right knee discomfort, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Leody Taveras replaced Alexander at third base in the bottom of the third inning on Monday. Alexander left the game after just one at-bat, going 0-for-1 with a strikeout.

Barger (elbow) is targeting Thursday for the beginning of his rehab assignment, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

Barger is expected to require about a week's worth of rehab games before being reinstated to the Blue Jays' active roster, setting him up to return in early July if all goes well. The 26-year-old has been shelved since mid-May with right elbow inflammation, and he's played only nine games for Toronto this season because of injuries.

McMahon is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

The left-handed-hitting McMahon will head to the bench for the second time in three games while the Yankees face off against another lefty (Framber Valdez) in the series opener. Platoon mate Amed Rosario will replace McMahon at third base and will bat leadoff.

Gelof went 2-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.

After being held out of the lineup Saturday, Gelof returned Sunday and came around to score a season-high three times in the high-scoring affair. The infielder wasted little time extending his hitting streak to 24 games, lacing a single in the first inning. Per Theo DeRosa of MLB.com, the 26-year-old became just the fourth Athletics player since 1961 to record a hitting streak of at least 24 games. Since the streak began May 25, Gelof is slashing .351/.402/.585 with five homers, seven doubles, 12 RBI, 19 runs and two stolen bases.

Durbin went 2-for-3 with a double in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Mariners.

Durbin posted multiple hits in all three road games and left Seattle with seven hits over 11 at-bats. His work also included two stolen bases, two doubles, a home run and two RBI. What has been a trying first season in Boston turned over the last three weeks. Durbin is batting .319 (23-for-72) with seven doubles, one triple, four home runs, 13 RBI, three steals and 11 runs over his last 20 games.

Alexander went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's 12-1 victory over the Dodgers.

Alexander excelled in the blowout win, recording his seventh three-hit performance of the campaign, highlighted by a two-run homer in the eighth inning. The 27-year-old has been on fire in June, slashing .422/.460/.689 with two homers, six doubles, nine RBI, seven runs and two stolen bases across 16 appearances this month while solidifying himself as the Orioles' top option at the hot corner. Overall, Alexander is hitting .312/.362/.447 with three homers, 12 doubles, a triple, 23 RBI, 22 runs and eight stolen bases across 66 contests in 2026.
