Walton went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Athletics.

The A's jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, but Walton's blast in the second quickly put a dent in the advantage. He has gone 13-for-24 (.542) over his last eight games. Walton is a versatile defender, but he has seen most of his time lately at designated hitter in a strong-side platoon role. He's batting .343 with a .927 OPS, three homers, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases over 74 plate appearances this season.

Guzman went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Athletics.

Guzman has homered in three straight games, taking advantage of the hitter-friendly conditions in Sacramento over the weekend. His blast Sunday was critical, as it erased a three-run deficit in the eighth inning. The infield prospect is now batting .271 with three homers, 11 RBI, seven runs scored, two doubles and a stolen base over 52 plate appearances in the majors this season.

Lewis went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Lewis went 4-for-25 (.160) with a 3:9 BB:K during the Twins' six-game road trip. Two of those hits went for extra bases, but his consistency has faded a bit after a strong initial showing when he returned from a stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Lewis is batting .203 with a .662 OPS, five steals, seven home runs, 21 RBI and 19 runs scored over 180 plate appearances this season.

Gelof will start at second base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Angels in his return to the lineup after sitting out Saturday's 7-0 loss due to general soreness, MLB.com reports.

Though the Athletics didn't specifically indicate that Gelof's absence Saturday was related to being hit in the head by a pitch a night earlier, he may have been held out of the lineup for precautionary reasons. He feels well enough to return to the starting nine Sunday as the Athletics' leadoff man, marking his third consecutive appearance atop the batting order.

Emerson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Emerson started the previous nine games after missing a couple contests due to back spasms, and he'll receive Sunday off after going 5-for-29 (.172 average) with two homers and 10 strikeouts during that nine-game stretch. J.P. Crawford is handling shortstop in the series finale versus Boston while Weston Wilson starts at the hot corner.

Gelof (head) is starting at second base and batting leadoff Sunday against the Angels.

Gelof was held out of Saturday's starting nine after being hit by a pitch in the ear flap of his helmet Friday, but he'll rejoin the lineup after sitting out just one game. The 26-year-old will look to extend his 23-game hit streak, during which he's batting .348 (31-for-89) with six doubles, five homers, two steals, 12 RBI and 16 runs.

Garcia (hand) will start at shortstop and bat second in Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

A left hand strain had kept Garcia out of the lineup for the Royals' previous three games, but the extra rest plus a team off day Saturday appears to have provided enough time for him to move past the issue. Though he had made all of his starts to date at third base or designated hitter, Garcia will cover shortstop Sunday while Bobby Witt (knee) misses a second straight game.

Vargas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

He'll head to the bench for the series finale in Detroit in what appears to be a planned rest day. Jacob Gonzalez and Colson Montgomery will serve as the White Sox's starters in the corner infield while Vargas sits for the first time since May 20, ending a streak of 26 consecutive starts.

Durbin went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Mariners.

Durbin was the only hitter for either team to log multiple hits in the contest. He is 6-for-11 with two homers, three RBI and a double over his last three contests as he works to shake off his slump from earlier in June. On the season, the third baseman is hitting .208 with a .616 OPS, five home runs, seven steals, 29 RBI and 25 runs scored over 67 games. Despite the underwhelming offense, Durbin continues to have an everyday role, sitting just once in Boston's past 20 games.

Guzman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in a 7-0 win against the Athletics on Saturday.

Guzman produced the only homer of the game with a 376-foot solo shot to left field in the seventh inning. The 22-year-old has gone deep in back-to-back contests after slugging 12 long balls across 58 games with Triple-A Salt Lake prior to his June 8 call-up. Guzman has been getting steady run for the big-league club, as he's started at third base in nine straight games.
