The Mariners said Monday that Donovan's concussion symptoms are starting to improve, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Donovan was placed on the 7-day injured list Sunday after he was struck by a ball in the batting cage over the weekend. He's eligible to be activated Saturday, though he'll have some steps to clear in the protocol before getting the green light to return to action for the Mariners.
