Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: First multi-homer day of 2026
Turang went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 8-6 loss to the Nationals.
Entering Sunday, Turang was in the midst of a mini-slump. In the past four games, he had just one hit in 13 at-bats. However, he broke out of that in a big way Sunday, knocking two balls out for homers and recording his second three-hit game of the season. Overall, the 26-year-old has been excellent to start the 2026 campaign as the owner of a 1.058 OPS, nine RBI and 12 walks in 13 games played.

Mauricio Dubon SS | ATL
Braves' Mauricio Dubon: Trio of hits in win
Dubon went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 13-1 win over Cleveland.
With Michael Harris on paternity leave, Dubon started Sunday's contest in center field and continued to produce at the plate with a three-hit performance. Through 15 games, the 31-year-old has been among the most productive hitters on Atlanta, slashing .351/.373/.561 with eight extra-base hits, 10 runs and 11 RBI. With such strong play and Ha-Seong Kim (finger) not close to returning from the injured list, Dubon should continue to see regular action at shortstop and around the diamond wherever manager Walt Weiss needs him.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Three hits in loss to Seattle
Altuve went 3-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 6-1 loss to the Mariners.
The Astros tallied five hits as a team Sunday, and Altuve accounted for three of those, as Logan Gilbert surrendered just one run on four hits across seven innings. Altuve continued his hot start to the 2026 season, slashing .333/.457/.526 with two home runs, six RBI, 12 runs scored, one stolen base and a 13:12 BB:K across 70 plate appearances.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Pirates' Brandon Lowe: Two homers, five RBI in loss Sunday
Lowe went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Cubs.
With the wind blowing out at Wrigley Field on Sunday, the Pirates and Cubs combined for five home runs. Lowe walked in the first inning before taking Jameson Taillon deep for a grand slam in the second. He later tagged Taillon again for a solo shot in the fifth. Lowe entered Sunday with just one extra-base hit and zero RBI in April, so this was a much-needed slump-busting performance for the second baseman. Lowe is slashing .245/.373/.592 with five home runs, nine RBI, seven runs scored and a 10:13 BB:K across 59 plate appearances.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Two more hits in win Sunday
Hoerner went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Pirates.
The Cubs' leadoff man, Hoerner singled and scored in the fifth inning before hitting his seventh double of the season in the seventh. It was Hoerner's fourth multi-hit game of April, and he's now slashing .316/.420/.491 with one home run, 10 RBI, nine runs scored, five stolen bases and a 9:6 BB:K across 69 plate appearances.

Luke Keaschall 2B | MIN
Twins' Luke Keaschall: Swipes bag in win
Keaschall went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Keaschall singled and scored in the third inning before adding another hit and a stolen base in the fourth. It marked just his second multi-hit effort of the season, as he's struggled to get going at the plate. On the year, the 23-year-old is slashing .213/.269/.279 with one home run, seven RBI, nine runs scored and three steals across 67 plate appearances.

Brendan Donovan 2B | SEA
Mariners' Brendan Donovan: Rejoining lineup Sunday
Donovan (illness) will start at third base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Astros.
Donovan has been out of the lineup since Wednesday due to the illness, though he also made an appearance off the bench in Saturday's 8-7 win, drawing a walk as a pinch hitter. The 29-year-old's Mariners career is off to a scorching start, as he has three home runs and a 1.040 OPS though 46 plate appearances.
-
Nick Gonzales 3B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Sitting in second straight game
Gonzales is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.
Gonzales is on the bench for a second straight game. He's underwhelmed to begin the season with a .267/.313/.333 slash line over 48 plate appearances, and the 26-year-old looks as though he'll have to settle for a utility role with Nick Yorke (.969 OPS over 37 plate appearances) staking a strong claim to the starting job at third base while Jared Triolo (knee) is on the shelf.
-
Luis Rengifo 3B | SD
Brewers' Luis Rengifo: Run of starts comes to end
Rengifo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.
Rengifo will take a seat after he had started at third base the last six games, going just 2-for-25 with a pair of doubles and a walk during that stretch. The Brewers should continue to find at-bats for Rengifo against left-handed pitching, but he'll need to perform better to earn consistent opportunities versus righties.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Royals' Jonathan India: Not in Sunday's lineup
India is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
India has a .184/.340/.342 slash line through 47 plate appearances this year and finds himself on the bench Sunday for the second time in Kansas City's past three games. Michael Massey is picking up another start at the keystone in the series finale versus Chicago.
