Estrada was moved to the 10-day injured list Monday due to a fractured left hand, Danny Emerman of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

Estrada was struck by a pitch during Sunday's series finale, and after further evaluation, it was determined he suffered a fracture. The timetable for his return is still up in the air, as his return date will likely depend on the location and severity of the fracture.

Donovan is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Donovan previously sat out both ends of a doubleheader Saturday against the Yankees while battling an arm injury, but he returned to the lineup for Sunday's 5-1 win over New York and went 3-for-4 with a home run. The Cardinals haven't indicated that he suffered a setback during that contest, so the lefty-hitting Donovan's absence from the lineup Monday likely has more to do with the fact that the Marlins are bringing southpaw Braxton Garrett to the hill.

Gorman is absent from the lineup for Monday's game in Miami.

Gorman will begin this one on the bench as the Cardinals face left-hander Braxton Garrett. St. Louis will go with Tommy Edman at second base and Luken Baker at designated hitter.

Montes was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque following Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Tigers.

Montes will head back to Albuquerque after being called up June 11. Over 18 games with the Rockies, the 26-year-old produced a disappointing .184/.244/.316 slash line with only three extra-base hits while striking out 12 times over 38 at-bats. He'll look to get back into a groove in Triple-A before potentially making a return to Colorado's roster later this season.

Jones signed a major-league contract with the Brewers and was added to the 26-man active roster ahead of Monday's game against the Cubs.

Before he opted out of his minor-league deal with the Dodgers over the weekend, the 25-year-old infielder has spent the entirety of the 2023 season at Triple-A Oklahoma City and put together a .292/.427/.542 slash line over 263 plate appearances. Jones will now get the opportunity to return to the big leagues with the Brewers, who are in need of added infield depth in the short term after Brian Anderson was placed on the paternity list Monday. Jones could end up serving as a short-side platoon player while he's up with the big club.

Albies went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Marlins.

He took Sandy Alcantara deep in the fifth inning to put Atlanta in the lead for good. Albies has reached 20 homers for the fourth time in his career, needing only 83 games to get there, and the 26-year-old seems poised to set new career highs in the power categories -- his previous best was 30 home runs over 156 games in 2021.

The 26-year-old has cemented himself as the Cardinals' leadoff hitter against righties and has rightfully earned it, as he's slashing .325/.428/.513 with six homers, 15 RBI, 19 runs and a 15:15 BB:K in his last 32 games after struggling to get going in April and the large majority of May.

Estrada will be re-evaluated Monday after being hit by a pitch on his wrist during Sunday's loss to the Mets, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Estrada was hit by a pitch in the top of the eighth inning but remained in the game down the stretch. The extent of his injury isn't yet clear, but he should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener against the Mariners.

Castro went 3-for-3 with two runs scored in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Tigers.

Castro had gone 12 games without a multi-hit effort, batting .250 (7-for-28) with a home run and four RBI in that span. He played well Sunday, twice coming home on sacrifice flies from Brenton Doyle. Castro is batting .281 with a .643 OPS, one home run, 22 RBI, 19 runs scored and eight doubles through 179 plate appearances this season. He's on the strong side of a platoon at second base, sharing the position with Coco Montes.

Gonzales went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's loss against the Brewers.

Gonzales was responsible for the Pirates' only two runs off Colin Rea with a two-run blast in the second inning. The 2020 first-round pick has gone 6-for-19 (.315) with two homers in his last six games after going 0-for-8 to start his big-league career. Gonzales is now slashing .222/.267/.556 with seven RBI and five runs scored through his first 30 plate appearances after batting .257 with a .820 OPS with Triple-A Indianapolis.
