Gleyber Torres 2B | DET
Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Pops fifth homer
Torres went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Twins.
He took Bailey Ober deep in the second inning to get the Yankees on the board, giving Torres his fifth long ball of the year. The second baseman has hit safely in five straight games and 10 of the last 11 as he shows signs of emerging from his season-long slump -- over that 11-game stretch he's slashing .297/.372/.514 with two doubles and two homers.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: On base three times
Rengifo went 2-for-3 with a walk, a steal and an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Padres.
Rengifo plated the Angels' first run with a base hit in the third and wound up being stranded on second after notching his 14th steal and second in as many games. He now has at least a hit in four straight games and is slashing .390/.419/.512 with three RBI, eight runs and a 2:4 BB:K in 43 plate appearances since May 24.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Drives in five vs. Marlins
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, a two-run double and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 9-5 win over Miami.
It was a big night for Lowe in his first start this year against a left-hander -- the second baseman tied the game 3-3 with a three-run homer off Jesus Luzardo in the fourth inning before adding two more RBI with a double in the fifth. The home run was the second of the season for Lowe and his first since March 29 after spending over a month on the IL with an oblique injury. He's now slashing .203/.320/.406 with 13 RBI and eight runs scored across 75 plate appearances on the campaign.

Connor Norby 2B | MIA
Orioles' Connor Norby: Lifts first career homer
Norby went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 10-1 win over Toronto.
After going 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts in his debut, Norby collected the first hit of his career on a two-run home run off Nate Pearson in the eighth inning Tuesday. As one of the top prospects in a loaded Orioles farm system, Norby has a bright future, but he could make some noise now with Jorge Mateo (concussion) on the 7-day IL.

Nicky Lopez 3B | CHC
White Sox's Nicky Lopez: Won't face lefty
Lopez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.
Lopez will dodge a matchup with southpaw Shota Imanaga on Tuesday. Danny Mendick will fill in at second base and bat seventh.

Zach Remillard 2B | CHW
White Sox's Zach Remillard: Loses 40-man roster spot
The White Sox designated Remillard for assignment Tuesday.
The move frees a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Duke Ellis. It's the third time since January that Remillard has been designated for assignment. He cleared waivers and stuck around the other two times and will probably do so again.

Enmanuel Valdez 2B | PIT
Red Sox's Enmanuel Valdez: Not in Tuesday's lineup
Valdez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
The 25-year-old is expected to serve as Boston's primary second baseman against right-handing pitching due to Vaughn Grissom (hamstring) and Romy Gonzalez (hamstring) being sidelined, but Valdez will sit Tuesday as lefty Max Fried takes the mound for Atlanta.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Swipes 13th bag
Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in a 2-1 victory versus the Padres on Monday.
Offense in the contest was scarce, so Rengifo's role in producing the Angels' first run was especially valuable. He singled with one out in the fourth inning and stole second base before eventually crossing the plate on a Willie Calhoun single. Rengifo missed some time in May due to an illness, but he hasn't slowed down since returning, slashing .313/.353/.484 with two homers, six RBI, 10 runs and four stolen bases in 16 contests. The infielder leads the team and is tied for 12th in the majors with 13 thefts on the campaign.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Homers in loss
Semien went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in a 2-1 loss to the Tigers on Monday.
Semien opened the scoring with a leadoff homer off Tarik Skubal and added a single and a walk in the third and fifth innings. The homer was Semien's first since May 17, and he has now reached base in 10 of his 14 June plate appearances. On the season, Semien is slashing .263/.322/.445 with 10 homers, 35 RBI, and 43 runs scored in 270 plate appearances.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Hitting on field, fields grounders
Drury (hamstring) will hit on the field and take grounders Monday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Drury will probably need to run the bases before being cleared for a rehab assignment. It's not clear when that might occur, but he's progressing steadily. The veteran infielder has been sidelined since early May with a left hamstring strain.
