Holliday went 3-for-4 with a double, two walks and a run scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

Holliday got a rare look in the leadoff spot with Gunnar Henderson resting Saturday. It ended up leading to one of Holliday's best games of the year, as he got aboard a season-high five times. The infielder has been lacking in power with just five extra-base hits over his last 39 games. Overall, he has a .185/.248/.307 slash line with five home runs, 23 RBI, 28 runs scored, four stolen bases, four doubles and two triples over 59 contests in 2024.

Gonzalez is absent from Sunday's lineup against Tampa Bay, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Enmanuel Valdez will start at third base and bat ninth in the Red Sox's regular-season finale. Unless he comes in to pinch hit, Gonzalez will end his first season with the Red Sox having slashed .266/.306/.417 with 11 stolen bases, six home runs and 29 RBI across 216 plate appearances.

Lopez will be out of the White Sox's lineup for a second straight game. Unless he pinch hits during Sunday's contest, he'll end the season with a slash line of .241/.312/.294 with five stolen bases, one home run and 21 RBI over 445 plate appearances. Jacob Amaya will start at shortstop and bat ninth.

Gelof isn't in Oakland's lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners.

Gelof went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts and notched his 25th stolen base during Friday's contest, and he'll now give way to Max Schuemann at second base while Tyler Nevin enters the lineup to fill the opening at third.

Massey isn't in the Royals' lineup Saturday versus Atlanta.

The Royals will give Massey a day to rest Saturday after going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles during Friday's loss. Adam Frazier will move to second base, allowing Robbie Grossman to start in right field and bat sixth.

Altuve isn't in Houston's lineup Saturday versus Cleveland.

After tallying a base hit in four of his last five games, Altuve will get a day to rest Saturday while Mauricio Dubon starts at second base and bats seventh.

Lopez isn't in the White Sox's lineup Saturday versus the Tigers.

Lopez will grab a seat on the bench Saturday after going just 1-for-16 over his last five games. Jacob Amaya will take over as Chicago's shortstop and bat ninth.

Torres isn't in the Yankees' lineup Saturday against the Pirates.

Torres will take a seat Saturday after going 1-for-4 during a loss in Friday's series opener. He'll be replaced at the keystone by Jon Berti, who will bat ninth.

Grissom went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Friday's 2-1 loss to Tampa Bay.

Grissom, who started for the fourth time in the last five games, is 7-for-18 (.389) with a double, two RBI and two steals since being called up last week. It was a rough year for the 23-year-old, whose spring training groin/hamstring injury lingered for months. A positive finish to the season, including a productive stint at Triple-A Worcester, should put him in line to be Boston's starter at second base in 2025.
