  • Brewers' Peter Strzelecki: Back with Brewers on MiLB deal

The Brewers signed Strzelecki to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Strzelecki opted out of his minor-league deal with the Yankees last week after holding a 4.81 ERA and 29:5 K:BB over 24.1 frames at the Triple-A level this season. The 31-year-old came up through the Brewers' minor-league system and first reached the majors with them in 2022, so it's a homecoming of sorts for Strzelecki.

  • Austin Voth RP | MIN

Twins' Austin Voth: Added to roster

The Twins selected Voth's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday.

Voth was just inked to a minor-league contract earlier this month and is now with the big club after turning in a 5.40 ERA and 17:6 K:BB over 13.1 innings with St. Paul. He will provide length in the Minnesota bullpen and is a good bet to pitch Tuesday versus the Dodgers at some point after starter Kendry Rojas, who is not fully stretched out.

  • Ben Malgeri RF | DET

Tigers' Ben Malgeri: Joins big-league roster

The Tigers selected Malgeri's contract from Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old has received his first promotion to the majors after posting a .296/.401/.496 slash line through 65 games with Toledo this season. Malgeri should serve as a reserve outfielder for Detroit and could see some starts against left-handed pitching.

  • Cody Laweryson RP | MIN

Twins' Cody Laweryson: Optioned back to minors

The Twins optioned Laweryson to Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday.

Laweryson has authored a 5.06 ERA and 18:7 K:BB over 16 innings out of the Minnesota bullpen this season. The 28-year-old's roster spot is being taken by Austin Voth, who can provide more length.

  • Jeremy Pena SS | HOU

Astros' Jeremy Pena: Absent from Tuesday's lineup

Pena (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Toronto.

Pena was forced to depart Monday's contest versus the Blue Jays with a right hamstring cramp. Astros manager Joe Espada said that Pena will go through a full pregame workout and could be available off the bench Tuesday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports. Raynel Delgado is covering shortstop for Houston on Tuesday.

  • Mitch Bratt SP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Mitch Bratt: Poised for MLB debut Wednesday

Bratt has joined the Diamondbacks' taxi squad and is expected to be called up from Triple-A Reno to make his major-league debut Wednesday in St. Louis, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Bratt has logged a 2.84 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 42:12 K:BB over 44.1 innings covering 11 starts this season with Reno. The left-hander recently returned from a brief stint on Reno's 7-day injured list due to a back injury and threw just 48 pitches over four frames in his most recent start last Wednesday, so he won't have a full workload at his disposal in St. Louis. Bratt is filling the rotation spot vacated by Michael Soroka (glute), and Bratt could receive at least one additional start beyond Wednesday while Soroka recovers.

  • Hayden Juenger RP | ATH

Blue Jays' Hayden Juenger: DFA'd by Toronto

The Blue Jays designated Juenger for assignment Tuesday.

The right-hander had his contract selected by Toronto in late May and made his first two MLB appearances before returning to Triple-A Buffalo. Juenger gave up three earned runs over two big-league innings and has a 2.59 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 28:( K:BB across 24.1 innings at Triple-A this year.

  • Lazaro Estrada RP | TOR

Blue Jays' Lazaro Estrada: Sent back to Triple-A

The Blue Jays optioned Estrada to Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.

He'll give up his spot on the 26-man active roster to right-hander Shane Bieber (elbow), who was activated from the 60-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Astros. Estrada has managed to allow just two runs over 6.1 innings in a couple relief outings for Toronto, though that's come with a 3:4 K:BB. The 27-year-old will likely go back into the rotation at Buffalo.

  • Shane Bieber SP | TOR

Blue Jays' Shane Bieber: Activated ahead of season debut

The Blue Jays activated Bieber (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Bieber is set to make his 2026 debut Tuesday with a start at home against the Astros. The right-hander got a late start to the season as he worked his way back from an elbow issue that had nagged at him since last season. Bieber had an up-and-down showing on his rehab assignment, posting a 6.88 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB across 17 innings. He went five innings in each of his last two rehab starts and reached 80 pitches in his final outing, so Bieber should be ready to handle around 90 pitches versus Houston.

  • Brandon Marsh LF | PHI

Phillies' Brandon Marsh: Strong campaign continues

Marsh went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Nationals.

That makes it five homers during the month of June for Marsh, who continues to serve as a key cog in the heart of Philadelphia's lineup this season. Through 282 plate appearances, the 28-year-old outfielder is slashing a strong .311/.344/.489 with 10 long balls, 36 RBI, seven stolen bases and 41 runs scored.
