Henderson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 2-1 win against the Mets on Monday.

Henderson broke a 1-1 tie with a solo shot to right-center field in the eighth inning to produce the game-winning run. The long ball was his first in September and his 23rd overall this season. It's been mostly a struggle for the infielder in 2026, as his .710 OPS is on pace for a career-worst mark. Still, he's provided more power this year after sinking to just 17 home runs across 154 regular-season games in 2025.

Tong allowed an unearned run over six innings in a no-decision against Baltimore on Monday. He gave up four hits and one walk while striking out six batters.

Tong yielded a run in the second inning, but he wasn't charged with an earned run since a passed ball contributed to the tally. Outside of that frame, the right-hander gave up just two hits and no runs across his other five innings. Tong racked up 13 whiffs among his 83 pitches and finished with the first quality start of his career. This was just his fifth outing and second start in the majors this year, as the 23-year-old has spent the majority of the campaign with Triple-A Syracuse. Given his performance Monday, Tong is likely to get at least another turn in the rotation. He's next slated to take the mound in a tough home matchup versus Philadelphia.

Sanoja went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple, two additional RBI, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 8-7 loss to Arizona.

After roping a two-RBI triple in the second frame, Sanoja lined a solo homer in the fourth inning. Adding to his big day, the third baseman swiped second base in the eighth inning after reaching on a fielder's choice. Sanoja has been on an extended tear at the plate, slashing .339/.378/.571 with five homers, 21 RBI, 17 runs and five stolen bases over his past 30 games. The 24-year-old has put together a quietly strong 2026 campaign overall, hitting .293/.333/.454 with nine homers, 63 RBI, 47 runs and 11 stolen bases in 133 contests.

Garcia notched a save against the Mets on Monday by tossing a perfect inning of work. He did not record a strikeout.

Garcia took the mound with Baltimore up by a run in the ninth inning. He retired the side in order on 14 pitches (nine strikes) to notch the save. It was his third save in the past six days, and no other Baltimore pitcher has recorded a save during that span, so Garcia appears to have taken over as the team's primary closer in the absence of Ryan Helsley (elbow). Helsley is in the midst of a rehab assignment, but he's missed over 2.5 months of action, so it's not certain that Helsley will be immediately put back into the ninth-inning role upon his return to the major-league club.

Young allowed one run on five hits and five walks while striking out six batters over five innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Monday.

Young struggled with his control, throwing just 59 of 106 pitches for strikes and issuing a season-high five free passes. However, none of the batters he walked came around to score, as the only run he gave up came on an A.J. Ewing solo homer. Young's wildness did prevent him from going deep into the game, but this performance was a vast improvement over the six-run, 3.2-inning dud he posted in his previous start. The right-hander is projected to next take the mound at home against Milwaukee.

Marsee went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple and an additional run scored in Monday's 8-7 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Marsee put together a strong performance at the dish, clubbing a solo homer in the fourth inning as part of a three-hit effort. The young center fielder has been locked in offensively this month, slashing .370/.453/.587 with two homers, six RBI, 10 runs and a stolen base across 13 September contests. On the year, he's hitting .226/.342/.350 with 10 homers, 37 RBI, 76 runs and 22 stolen bases in 145 games.

Okamoto went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Monday in a loss to Detroit.

Okamoto's long ball was a big one, as his three-run blast in the seventh inning turned a two-run Toronto deficit into a one-run lead. However, the Tigers put up runs in the eighth and ninth frames to emerge with the victory. Okamoto has been wielding a powerful bat of late, going deep in five of his past seven games. Monday's long ball was his first that wasn't a solo homer during that span, but he's batting a robust .348 (8-for-23) during the power surge. The rookie third baseman is up to 33 homers on the campaign, ranking 10th in the majors.

Lawlar went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 8-7 win over Miami.

Lawlar launched a two-run homer in the eighth inning to cut Arizona's deficit to 7-6. Since returning from a right hamstring strain Aug. 17, the 24-year-old is hitting .238/.294/.460 with four homers, nine RBI, nine runs and a stolen base over 23 contests. Overall, Lawlar is slashing .267/.339/.455 with five homers, 13 RBI, 15 runs and five stolen bases in 35 games this season.

Varland (5-6) was charged with the blown save and the loss Monday against the Tigers, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two batters over 1.2 innings.

Varland got the call with one out in the eighth inning after Detroit put two runners on base. The All-Star closer struck out Dillon Dingler to put himself in position to escape the jam, but Brett Callahan followed with an RBI single to tie the score. Varland then managed to get the third out, but he yielded the go-ahead run in the ninth and ultimately took the loss. The blown save was just the second of the season in 35 attempts for Varland, who had converted nine consecutive saves while allowing just one earned run over 14.2 innings across his previous 14 appearances. He still has an outstanding 1.32 overall ERA this season and is in no danger of losing his closer role.

Nootbaar went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 8-7 win over Miami.

Nootbaar launched a two-run blast in the third inning as part of a three-hit effort. The 29-year-old has been hot of late, slashing .417/.500/.750 with three homers, 10 RBI and five runs over his past 15 games. Nootbaar is hitting .247/.349/.393 with seven homers, 31 RBI, 31 runs and two stolen bases across 80 contests between St. Louis and Arizona in 2026.
