Durbin went 3-for-4 with a walk and one run scored in Wednesday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Athletics.

Durbin has gone 7-for-15 over his last four games after scuffling a bit coming out of the All-Star break. The third baseman is now batting .244 with a .707 OPS, 10 home runs, 44 RBI, 46 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 19 doubles and one triple over 100 games, as he's mostly overcome his horrid start to the campaign. Durbin is set to stay as the starter at third base as injuries pile up in the middle infield for the Red Sox.

Jones went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Athletics.

This was Jones' second homer over eight games for the Red Sox. He's filled a part-time role with his new team and will likely continue to do so, providing cover in the corner outfield versus left-handed pitching. Jones is batting .167 with a .565 OPS, four homers, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored, one stolen base and four doubles over 120 plate appearances between Boston and Detroit this season.

Monasterio went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a hit-by-pitch in Wednesday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Athletics.

Monasterio provided the margin of victory when he went deep in the 10th inning. He saw a nine-game hitting streak end Tuesday, but he bounced back Wednesday with his fifth multi-hit effort over 17 contests in July. Monasterio is now batting .259 with a .779 OPS, six homers, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 204 plate appearances this season. As long as Boston's middle infield is plagued by injuries, Monasterio should continue to have a clear path to playing time at shortstop.

Weissert struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Athletics.

Weissert got the call for the 10th inning after Aroldis Chapman was utilized to keep the game tied in the ninth. Weissert has allowed four runs with a 9:1 K:BB over 10 innings in July, but he's also scooped up three wins this month. On the year, he has a 4.04 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB through 42.1 innings while adding a save, five holds and two blown saves. He's not a realistic threat to Chapman's status as the Red Sox's closer.

Sandoval allowed two runs on five hits, two walks and a hit batsman while striking out seven over five innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Wednesday.

Sandoval gave up solo home runs to Jonah Heim and Lawrence Butler but otherwise kept the A's off the board. This was the second time in four starts Sandoval has gotten to the five-inning mark as he continues to build up after missing more than two years due to elbow and other arm-related injuries. The southpaw has posted a 3.32 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 19 innings so far this season. Sandoval is projected to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Arozarena went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Arozarena reached on an error and stole second in the first inning. The theft was his 20th of the year, making him one of 16 players to reach the 20-steal plateau through Wednesday's action. The outfielder has gone 10-for-46 (.217) over 12 contests since the All-Star break. For the season, Arozarena is batting .278 with an .816 OPS, 13 home runs, 47 RBI, 66 runs scored, 21 doubles and one triple over 101 contests.

Hancock (6-5) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Hancock held his own in a tough matchup, but the Mariners' offense didn't give him much in the way of help. He ended up allowing a total of five runs over 19.2 innings across four games in July, adding a 15:5 K:BB for the month. The right-hander has maintained a 3.26 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 102:27 K:BB through 110.1 innings over 20 starts on the campaign. His name has swirled in trade rumors as a candidate to get moved to clear the Mariners' logjam of starting pitchers, so it's unclear if he'll remain with Seattle past Monday's deadline. If he doesn't get dealt, he's tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Tigers.

Pages went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a second RBI in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Mariners.

Pages was able to log his first multi-hit effort since July 11 versus the Diamondbacks. He started the scoring Wednesday with a first-inning homer and added an RBI single in the fourth. The outfielder is now batting .267 with a .795 OPS, 18 homers, 71 RBI, 63 runs scored, 10 stolen bases, 22 doubles and two triples over 107 contests. Pages has hit safely in 15 of 22 games during July but is batting only .250 (20-for-80) this month.

Diaz allowed one run on two hits over one inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Mariners.

Diaz returned from an elbow surgery Wednesday, but he showed a little rust. He threw nine of 13 pitches for strikes and was able to lock down the save. The Dodgers clearly want Diaz to take the reins for closing duties, but they're not lacking in alternatives if he can't keep runs off the board. He's pitched to a 10.29 ERA and 10:5 K:BB through seven innings while converting five of six saves this season. If the Dodgers manage Diaz's workload, Tanner Scott and Alex Vesia would be the top options to see some ancillary save chances -- both pitched Wednesday in setup roles.

Lauer (6-5) allowed a hit, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out four over six scoreless innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Wednesday.

Lauer logged his fifth quality start in his last six outings, and he's also picked up four wins in that span. The southpaw was able to keep the Mariners off balance Wednesday, throwing 55 of 87 pitches for strikes in his second scoreless performance of the year. Lauer is now at a 4.50 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 56:29 K:BB through 88 innings over 17 games (14 starts) between the Dodgers and the Blue Jays this year. He's tentatively projected to make his next start on the road versus the Cubs.
