Muncy (wrist) played third base during the ninth inning of Tuesday's 15-6 rout of the Rockies.

Muncy was absent from the starting lineup for the fourth straight game after getting hit on the right wrist by a pitch Friday. However, he logged game action Tuesday for the first time since that HBP, entering in the ninth inning to play third base with the Dodgers up 15-1 and Miguel Rojas, who started at the hot corner, mopping up on the mound. Though Muncy didn't swing a bat, he did cleanly handle a grounder to third base and made the throw to first to record an out. The defensive appearance further buoys the belief that Muncy isn't going to need a stint on the IL, and he could in fact be back in the Dodgers' lineup as soon as Wednesday for the series finale.

The Blue Jays transferred Berrios (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

The transaction clears space on the 40-man roster for Connor Seabold, who was acquired via trade with Detroit. Berrios is out for the rest of this season and a big chunk of 2027 after having Tommy John surgery last week.

Marsh (finger) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The Phillies will unsurprisingly keep Marsh on the bench for the series finale Wednesday after the outfielder exited Tuesday's 4-3 win in the fourth inning due to a right middle finger sprain, an injury he initially suffered while diving back to first base on a pickoff attempt in the top of the first. Per Paul Casella of MLB.com, Marsh said he plans to wear mitts on both of his hands as a baserunner to guard against future injuries while sliding, but at this point, the Phillies are viewing his sprained finger as a day-to-day concern and not something that will keep him out of the lineup for long. Philadelphia is off Thursday, so Marsh could be ready to start when the team opens up a three-game series with the Dodgers on Friday.

The Blue Jays acquired Seabold from the Tigers on Wednesday in exchange for Juanmi Vasquez.

Seabold had been designated for assignment by Detroit and is now headed to a new organization. He was with the Blue Jays during spring training but was a late roster cut before linking up with Detroit. The 30-year-old held a 3.45 ERA and 14:5 K:BB over 15.2 innings out of the Tigers' bullpen and will give the Blue Jays some additional length in their relief corps.

Wells went 3-for-6 with a run and an RBI in a 15-1 rout of the Royals on Tuesday.

All nine of New York's starters finished with multiple hits, so Wells' performance (which included three singles) got a bit lost in the shuffle. Still, it was a notable effort since it was the first time Wells collected multiple hits in a game since April 28, and it was also his first three-hit performance this season. The backstop has struggled at the plate throughout the campaign, slashing just .181/.295/.283 with four homers, 13 runs and seven RBI, but he has remained New York's primary catcher.

Kittredge threw a clean inning Tuesday against the Rays. He struck out one.

The 36-year-old right-hander is continuing to recover from a brutal May 3 outing against the Yankees, when he was torched for seven runs while recording just one out. Kittredge has turned in nine outings with no earned runs allowed among his 12 appearances but nonetheless holds a dismal 8.38 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 9:4 K:BB across his first 9.2 innings after beginning the year on the injured list.

Adell went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Tigers in a 10-6 victory Tuesday.

Adell fanned three times in the contest, but he made his mark with a solo homer to left field in the fourth inning. Punchouts have been a problem for Adell of late -- over his past 12 games, he has a 32.7 percent strikeout rate and has drawn just two walks while batting .133 (6-for-45). Still, Adell's overall 24.0 percent strikeout rate through 55 contests is on pace to be the second-best mark of his career, and he's recorded eight homers, 29 RBI, 19 runs and two stolen bases along with a .245/.293/.392 slash line.

France is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

After striking out in all four of his at-bats in Tuesday's 4-3 loss, France will get a chance to clear his head in the series finale. France had been included in the lineup at first base in each of the Friars' previous four games, with three of those starts coming against right-handed pitching. He looks like he may have the edge over Nick Castellanos for the final opening in San Diego's everyday lineup until the team gets Jake Cronenworth (concussion) back from the 7-day injured list.

Siri hit a solo home run in his only at-bat during a 10-6 victory versus Detroit on Tuesday.

Siri entered the contest as a defensive substitute in the eighth inning. He made the most of his lone plate appearance, belting a homer to left field to lead off the top of the ninth. Since joining the Angels' active roster May 16, Siri has played sporadically but has hit well, going 3-for-11 with two extra-base hits (a double and Tuesday's long ball).

Church (shoulder) received clearance from a specialist Tuesday to start a plyometric and strengthening program, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

It's a necessary first step in Church's rehab, but he's still in the early stages of recovery and there remains no timetable for his return from a left shoulder strain. Lars Nootbaar (heels) appears poised to beat Church back from the injured list, which will likely lead to a dip in playing time for Church after he returns.
