Hernaiz went 2-for-4 in Wednesday's loss against Seattle.

Hernaiz collected a pair of singles, one in the third inning and another in the seventh frame, marking his sixth multi-hit effort of the campaign. The infielder entered the 2026 season in a reserve role but has operated as the Athletics' primary shortstop since Jacob Wilson (shoulder) landed on the injured list May 12. Across his past 15 contests, Hernaiz is slashing .348/.400/.391 with two doubles, two RBI, six runs and a stolen base.

Yoshida is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against Atlanta, reports Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com

Yoshida will sit out of Thursday's lineup since left-hander Chris Sale is taking the mound for Atlanta. Boston will opt to go with Andruw Monasterio as the DH, batting fifth. Yoshida has only recorded 16 plate appearances against left-handed pitchers this season and has a .200/.250/.333 slash line in that split.

Skubal (elbow) will throw another simulated game Monday at Tropicana Field, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Skubal tossed 39 pitches over 2.2 innings in a simulated game Tuesday and will build up further Monday. Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said Thursday that Skubal's next throwing session after Monday's will occur June 7. Woodbery speculates that it could line Skubal up to make a rehab start June 12 before rejoining the Tigers' rotation June 17 in Houston, though nothing is official on that front at this point.

Weaver picked up his seventh hold Wednesday after pitching 1.1 scoreless innings while allowing one hit and striking out one batter in a 4-2 win over Cincinnati.

The 32-year-old entered with two outs in the seventh inning and the Mets holding a 3-2 lead, and he carried that one-run advantage into the ninth inning for closer Devin Williams. Weaver has been lights out over his last 15 appearances, allowing just two earned runs and striking out 20 batters over 17 innings. Weaver continues to operate as New York's primary setup man, and he isn't likely to see anything more than the occasional save chance since Williams has righted the ship after a rocky start to the year.

Keaschall is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox.

Keaschall has slashed a healthy .269/.395/.373 in May following a rough April, though with zero home runs and three steals, the counting stats haven't been really been there. Orlando Arcia will play second base Thursday while Keaschall rests.

Agnos surrendered seven earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out one batter over two innings of relief Tuesday in the Rockies' 15-6 loss to the Dodgers.

Fresh off tossing five scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and one walk in his first MLB start May 21 in Arizona, Agnos shifted back to the bullpen this week, with the Rockies having Tanner Gordon replace him as their fifth starter. Despite being called upon in a low-pressure spot in the top of the fifth inning with the Rockies trailing by seven runs, Agnos did little to stop the bleeding. The gem of an outing against the Diamondbacks looks to be an extreme outlier performance for the 25-year-old righty, who now owns a 6.42 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 45 career appearances in the big leagues.

Martin is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the White Sox.

After starting each of the previous six contests, Martin will grab a seat in Thursday's matinee. Kody Clemens will patrol right field for the Twins.

Romero was charged with a blown save after allowing a hit and striking out one over one inning during a 2-1 loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday. He allowed two inherited runners to score.

Starter Dustin May fired seven no-hit frames before giving up two hits to open the eighth, and Romero was called upon to escape the jam. The left-hander nearly did so unscathed, inducing a fielder's choice grounder and recording strikeout before a single and an error brought home two runs for Milwaukee. Despite the blown save, Romero has been cruising through his last 10 appearances, tallying six holds and allowing just one earned run while striking out 12 through 10.2 innings.

Jansen is awaiting results of an MRI on his right groin, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Jansen had to exit an appearance Wednesday against the Angels after his groin tightened up on him. Any sort of strain will likely lead to a stint on the injured list, but more on Jansen's status will be available soon. If Jansen is forced to miss time, the Tigers could turn to Will Vest and/or Kyle Finnegan to fill their closer role.

Priester (shoulder) recorded two outs and was charged with three earned runs on two hits and three walks Wednesday in his rehab start with Triple-A Nashville. He struck out one batter.

Per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, Milwaukee was aiming for Priester to cover five innings and around 80-to-85 pitches Wednesday in his third start since resuming his rehab assignment, but the right-hander fell well short of both benchmarks. He needed 38 pitches just to record his two outs, with Priester's erratic control prompting his removal from the game before the first inning concluded. Priester hasn't looked sharp at any point over the course of his two separate rehab assignments spanning six starts, accruing a 21.60 ERA, 3.60 WHIP and 10:17 K:BB in 10 innings over one outing with High-A Wisconsin and five with Nashville. In addition to lacking control, Priester has struggled to regain velocity as he works his way back from right neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome. Priester averaged 93.9 mph with his sinker during the 2025 season, but he reached a max velocity of just 93.3 mph during Wednesday's start.
