McGreevy (4-9) took the loss Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two over 1.2 innings.

McGreevy needed 63 pitches (40 strikes) to record just five outs and matched his career high by allowing seven runs. After laboring through a two-run first inning, the right-hander unraveled in the second and allowed seven baserunners -- including five straight to end his outing -- as Chicago plated five more runs. The abbreviated appearance was a stark contrast to his recent stretch, during which he completed at least six innings in eight of his previous nine starts. It also marked the shortest start of his career, surpassing his previous low of four innings. McGreevy has now lost consecutive starts and will carry a 3.57 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 76:29 K:BB into his next scheduled outing Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Garcia went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, a run scored and a strikeout in Tuesday's 8-6 win over Toronto.

With the Nationals leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Garcia clubbed a two-run homer, scoring Jacob Young to extend the lead. The 26-year-old collected his third straight multi-hit game Tuesday. On the season, Garcia is slashing .282/.313/.551 with a career-high 22 homers and 73 RBI in 358 plate appearances.

Rea (8-7) earned the win Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings.

Rea threw 61 of his 94 pitches for strikes and limited St. Louis to four singles. His only run allowed came in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly after loading the bases. The veteran right-hander has now recorded a quality start in two of his last three starts after failing to do so in each of his previous eight outings. Through three starts since the All-Star break, Rea has allowed nine runs (eight earned) across 17 innings. Despite the recent improvement, his 4.67 ERA ranks sixth highest among qualified starters this season. Rea is lined up to make his second start of the week Sunday against the Yankees.

Cavalli (8-4) earned the win Tuesday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings.

Despite striking out just three batters, Cavalli picked up his fourth straight quality start and his sixth in his last seven starts dating back to June 25. The 27-year-old tossed 98 pitches, 64 of them for strikes, in his 23rd start of the campaign. The right-hander now owns a 3.55 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 130:36 K:BB through 116.2 innings this season. Cavalli is slated to make his next start against Atlanta on Sunday.

Suzuki went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Cardinals.

Suzuki has been swinging a hot bat lately, and he extended his hitting streak to four games with his seventh three-hit effort of the season. The outfielder is now batting .282 with a .954 OPS, six home runs and 21 RBI across 21 contests this month. Suzuki should remain a mainstay in fantasy lineups as long as he's healthy, as he's locked into a prime spot in Chicago's order and producing at a high level.

Bregman went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Cardinals.

After getting a day off Sunday, Bregman has now gone 7-for-10 in his first two games back in the lineup. The veteran third baseman is having a slightly down season overall with a .245/.339/.374 slash line across 104 games, though he's starting to get his bat going recently. Bregman historically gets stronger later in the year, and with a career .963 OPS in August, he could be primed for a good stretch of performances as the calendar flips a page.

Johnson went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

Getting the start at second base and batting seventh in the nightcap, Johnson swiped both his bags after an eighth-inning walk as he tried to produce an insurance run in a 2-0 victory. It was only Johnson's second big-league start since making his debut for the Reds on June 30, and the hit and stolen bases were the first of his career. Edwin Arroyo has been scuffling of late, but any chance for Johnson to see more opportunities at the keystone will likely disappear once Matt McLain (calf) returns from the IL.

Pagan recorded his 11th save of the season in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Guardians, giving up a hit and striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

The veteran righty completed a combined shutout for the Reds staff that featured five different pitchers, as the group combined to allow just three singles. Pagan has converted all five of his save chances since coming off the IL at the beginning of July, and on the month he's produced a 2.46 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB over 7.1 innings.

Stewart went 2-for-3 with two walks, a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

The 22-year-old got the Reds on the board with a solo shot off Slade Cecconi in the third inning before driving in two more runs in the fourth with a single. The steal was Stewart's first since June 16 and his 12th of the season, but he's gone yard three times in the last eight contests to reach 22 on the year. After going 0-for-3 in the nightcap, Stewart sports a .254/.332/.475 slash line through 106 contests with 56 runs and 79 RBI.

Burns didn't factor into the decision in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Guardians, allowing five runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

The matinee got off to a disastrous start for Burns and the Reds, as an Edwin Arroyo error helped prolong the first inning and eventually set up a grand slam by Kyle Manzardo. The right-hander kept his cool and shut Cleveland down for the next three frames, exiting after 89 pitches (58 strikes) with the score tied 5-5. Burns still hasn't been saddled with a loss since April 10, and over nine starts since the beginning of June he's gone 5-0 with a 2.98 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 56:21 K:BB over 48.1 innings. He'll look to stay sharp in his next outing, which is currently scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Pirates.
