Henderson (1-1) earned the win over Minnesota on Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over five innings.

Henderson surrendered a solo homer to Trevor Larnach in the third inning, but the Twins were otherwise unable to get into the scoring column against him. The right-hander racked up an impressive 18 whiffs en route to his first big-league win of 2026. Henderson is in the rotation due to an injury to Brandon Woodruff (shoulder), who could be back by the end of May. However, with a 3.50 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB through 18 innings spanning four starts, Henderson may be making a case for a permanent starting role with the big club.

Sanoja went 2-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 10-5 extra-inning win over the Rays.

Sanoja fell one RBI short of tying a career high, but he notably posted his first RBI of the month of May altogether Saturday. The 23-year-old has been useful to the Marlins in terms of positional versatility as a super-utility player, but he isn't commanding much fantasy attention. Through 92 at-bats, Sanoja is hitting .261 with no home runs, 14 RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases.

Fairbanks (1-2) was charged with a blown save but earned the win Saturday against the Rays, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. He struck out two.

Joe Mack committed a throwing error while attempting to catch Cedric Mullins stealing second base, which resulted in Tampa Bay's game-tying run in the ninth frame going unearned on Fairbanks' ledger. The Marlins went on to rally in the 10th inning and get Fairbanks off the hook, but the hurler has certainly been shaky during his debut season with Miami. Through 10 frames as the club's primary closer, the hard-throwing right-hander has a 9.00 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB while converting five of his seven save chances.

Alcantara didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Rays, allowing one unearned run on seven hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out six.

A throwing error by Xavier Edwards helped allow an unearned run to come across in the third inning, but it was smooth sailing for Alcantara on Saturday otherwise. The 30-year-old right-hander has been prone to the occasional hiccup, giving up seven runs on two separate occasions, but he's yielded two runs or fewer while working at least five frames in seven of his 10 outings in 2026. Alcantara will carry a 3.53 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 45:20 K:BB across 63.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance versus Atlanta.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Gasser has a "good chance" at being recalled from Triple-A Nashville to start in Sunday's series finale against the Twins, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The Brewers are shorthanded in the rotation with both Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) and Quinn Priester (shoulder) are on the 15-day injured list, and Jacob Misiorowski was pulled from Wednesday's start against the Padres due to quad cramping. Gasser has spent the entire 2026 season in Triple-A, where he has a 3.74 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB across 21.2 innings. He made two starts last season for Milwaukee, allowing six runs (two earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out five across 5.2 frames.

Sanchez (5-2) notched the win Saturday against the Pirates, allowing no runs on six hits and no walks in nine innings. He struck out 13.

The All-Star southpaw found himself in peak form, racking up a career-high 13 strikeouts in his fourth career complete game. Saturday also marked Sanchez's second career complete-game shutout, a feat he last accomplished back in 2024, and he's now spun at least seven innings while yielding no runs in three consecutive starts to open the month of May. He'll be looking to keep the good times rolling in his next scheduled outing against Cleveland, boasting a 1.82 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 80:14 K:BB over 64.1 frames.

Stewart went 0-for-2 with two walks, an RBI and a steal during the Reds' 7-4 loss to the Guardians on Saturday.

Stewart tied things up at 2-2 in the fifth inning after drawing a bases-loaded walk. He also logged his 10th steal of the season in the first frame and is close to matching the 17 steals he recorded across two minor-league levels (118 games) in 2025. Stewart has a .782 OPS with 10 home runs, 31 RBI and 26 runs scored across 201 plate appearances this season.

Chandler (1-5) took the loss Saturday against the Phillies, allowing five runs (four earned) on three hits and four walks in three innings. He struck out two.

Chandler hasn't been able to sharpen his control consistently in 2026, having now issued at least three free passes in six of his first nine starts of the season. Saturday was the hard-throwing right-hander's shortest outing of the year, and he also fanned a season-low two. Although Chandler has held his opponents to a .213 batting average, he's set to bring a 5.14 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and an alarming 36:31 K:BB over 42 innings into a matchup with the Blue Jays.

Paddack did not factor into Saturday's decision against the Guardians, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three across five innings.

Paddack put the Reds in an early hole after yielding a two-run single to Brayan Rocchio in the second inning, but the veteran right-hander settled in and did not give up another run the rest of the way. Paddack induced eight whiffs while tossing 56 strikes on 78 pitches (71.8 percent strike rate), putting on a solid showing in his Reds debut just six days after being released by the Marlins. He's lined up to start against the Cardinals next weekend, and Paddack should remain in the Reds' rotation for as long as Rhett Lowder (shoulder) is on the 15-day injured list.

Ruiz went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, five RBI, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Saturday's 13-3 win over Baltimore.

It was a banner day for Ruiz, who piled up a career-high five RBI while swiping his first bag of the campaign. Ruiz had a .507 OPS on the year through the month of April, but he's gaining momentum in May so far. The switch-hitting catcher turned in his second three-hit performance this month Saturday and is now batting .323 with three homers, five doubles and 11 RBI over his last 31 at-bats to boost his season OPS to .715.
