  • Marlins' Emmanuel Rivera: Out of Tuesday's lineup

Rivera is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Marlins' Shaun Anderson: Heads back to minors

The Marlins optioned Anderson to Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday.

Anderson saved the bullpen with 5.1 innings of relief in Monday's loss to the Reds. He wasn't going to be available to pitch for several days, so the Marlins will replace him with a fresh arm.

  • Padres' David Peralta: On bench against southpaw

Peralta is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
