Dodgers' Brusdar Graterol: Nearing bullpen session
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Graterol (hamstring) will throw a bullpen session soon, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The right-hander landed on the shelf with a Grade 1 hamstring strain in early August, and he's making a relatively quick return to mound work. Graterol suffered the injury during his season debut after he missed the first four months of the campaign due to a shoulder injury.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Reds' Amed Rosario: Claimed by Cincinnati
The Reds claimed Rosario off waivers Sunday.
The 29-year-old was designated for assignment Monday by the Dodgers to make room on the roster for Mookie Betts' return from the injured list, and Rosario will now make his way to Cincinnati. Rosario has a .305/.331/.415 slash line with two homers and 10 stolen bases in 81 games between Tampa Bay and Los Angeles this season.

Reynaldo Lopez RP | ATL
Braves' Reynaldo Lopez: Could return Tuesday
Atlanta hasn't officially announced a starter for Tuesday's game against the Phillies, but manager Brian Snitker previously indicated the Lopez (forearm) was expected to be re-inserted into the rotation early this week, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Max Fried and Spencer Schwellenbach are penciled in to pitch Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, potentially leaving Tuesday open for Lopez to make his return from the injured list. The right-hander threw 71 pitches over four innings during his rehab start last Tuesday with Triple-A Gwinnett, so he shouldn't have significant workload limitations in his return to Atlanta's rotation.

Jared Jones SP | PIT
Pirates' Jared Jones: Making another rehab start
Pirates GM Ben Cherington said Sunday that Jones (lat) will make at least one more rehab start before returning from the 15-day injured list, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
The right-hander has struggled in his two rehab outings for Triple-A Indianapolis with six earned runs allowed across six innings. Jones encouragingly built up his workload to 67 pitching during his last appearance, but the Pirates might want to see him regain some effectiveness before re-inserting him into the big-league rotation.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Exits after HBP
Riley was removed from Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit by a pitch on his right hand, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The third baseman initially stayed in to run the bases after being struck on the hand by a 97-mph sinker in the top of the first inning, but he was replaced in the field by Luke Williams for the bottom of the frame. Riley is likely headed for X-rays, leaving his availability up in the air heading into Tuesday's series opener versus the Phillies.

The Reds recalled Legumina from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.
Legumina has had a couple stints in the majors this season and has rejoined the Reds for Sunday's series finale versus Kansas City. Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Tweaks ankle off bench
Marte was removed from Sunday's game against the Rays after he appeared to aggravate his left ankle sprain during a pinch-hit appearance, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.
The 30-year-old returned to the lineup Saturday as the designated hitter after he sat out the previous three games due to an ankle sprain, but he quickly aggravated the injury after coming off the bench late in Sunday's contest. The severity of the injury this time around is unclear, but Marte needed to be helped off the field and could require a trip to the injured list.

Ha-seong Kim SS | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Suffers apparent shoulder injury
Kim was removed from Sunday's game against the Rockies due to an apparent right shoulder injury, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
Kim singled to start off the third inning but sustained an injury while diving back into first base, and he promptly exited the contest. The specifics of the injury are unclear, and the 28-year-old should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated.

LaMonte Wade Jr. LF | HOU
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Sitting versus southpaw
Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the A's, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Wade is mired in a 2-for-19 slump and will head to the bench Sunday as lefty JP Sears takes the mound for Oakland. Mark Canha is starting at first base and batting second in the series finale versus the Athletics.
