Edman went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Guardians.

Edman drove in the Dodgers' first two runs of the game with a ground-rule double in the opening frame before then coming home to score on a Miguel Rojas single. The infielder would later add a single and a stolen base in the fifth to give him his second multi-hit performance this month and his fourth over his last nine games. Over that latter stretch he's batting .314 (11-for-35) with seven RBI, four runs and three steals.

Stowers is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Stowers started the previous seven games and will receive a break after going 2-for-27 with 12 strikeouts during that stretch. Javier Sanoja will start in center field for the series finale versus Philadelphia.

Honeywell (1-1) picked up the win over the Guardians on Saturday, allowing one hit over two scoreless innings in relief.

Honeywell was one of seven pitchers used by the Dodgers on Saturday, coming in to close out the final two innings as the team cruised to a 7-2 win at home. The right-hander retired six of the seven batters he faced over those two frames en route to earning his first win of the campaign. Honeywell had allowed at least one run in three consecutive appearances coming in, and Saturday also marked the first time in his last four outings that he didn't issue a walk.

Bart went 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored across both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals.

Bart was activated from the injured list Friday but didn't return to the lineup until the first game of Saturday's doubleheader. The Pirates have a crowded rotation at catcher that also includes Yasmani Grandal and Henry Davis, though Bart has hit well enough this season to also get looks as the team's designated hitter.

Donovan (foot) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old was held out of the lineup Saturday due to a foot infection, and he'll remain on the bench for Sunday's series finale. Donovan will have Monday's team off day to aid in his recover ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus the Reds. Jose Fermin is making another start at the keystone for St. Louis.

Alvarez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Alvarez started the first two games of the series but will sit for the finale after going 0-for-5 with two walks, a hit-by-pitch and two strikeouts. Luis Torrens will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Luis Severino.

Martinez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Martinez started the past two games after returning from the paternity list, and he'll receive a day off after going 2-for-8 with a double, three RBI and three strikeouts. Jesse Winker will shift to designated hitter while Harrison Bader picks up a start in the outfield.

The Rockies designated Blach for assignment Sunday.

Blach was called up from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sept. 1 after Cal Quantrill (tricep) was placed on the 15-day injured list. Blach took the loss in both of his starts since his call-up, allowing 11 runs (10 earned) on 11 hits and two walks while striking out two over 7.2 innings. Blach was serving as a placeholder in the Rockies' rotation, and with Antonio Senzatela (elbow) nearing his return from the 60-day IL, there doesn't appear to be any room on the 40-man roster for the former. Right-hander Victor Vodnik (biceps) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Vodnik made his lone rehab appearance with Double-A Hartford on Friday, when he struck out two batters over one inning. He will rejoin the Colorado bullpen for Sunday's series finale against the Brewers, though it's unclear if Vodnik will immediately reclaim the closer's role or if he'll instead get eased into higher-leverage situations. Across 55 major-league appearances this season, Vodnik has recorded nine saves and six holds with a 4.04 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 64.2 innings.

Norby went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Phillies.

He got things started for the Marlins by launching a two-run shot off Aaron Nola in the first inning. Norby has been the most impressive of Miami's trade-deadline acquisitions, and in 17 games for his new club he's slashing .319/.365/.594 with seven doubles, four homers, two steals, nine RBI and 16 runs.
