Pages appears to be the Cardinals' preferred catching option at the moment, as he had started in four of the previous five contests. He'll get a chance to rest in Sunday's matinee, however, as Ivan Herrera gets a turn behind the plate.

Mitchell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

The lefty-hitting Mitchell will take a seat for the series finale while the Rockies send a southpaw (Kyle Freeland) to the bump for the second straight day, but the outfielder continues to see steady playing time versus righties. He had started in each of the Brewers' previous seven matchups with right-handers.

Cave will start in left field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Though he'll be included in the lineup Sunday over a resting Nolan Jones, the lefty-hitting Cave was on the bench for three of the Rockies' previous four matchups with right-handers. The Rockies look to be prioritizing Jones and Jordan Beck as starters in the corner outfield ahead of Cave, a 31-year-old journeyman who is entering his final year of arbitration this winter and may be a non-tender candidate.

Frelick is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Frelick started against a southpaw Saturday but will head to the bench Sunday versus Colorado lefty Sal Frelick. Jackson Chourio will shift to right field while Isaac Collins makes his MLB debut in left.

Bauers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Bauers is sitting for the second straight day as Kyle Freeland is the second consecutive lefty to start for Colorado. Gary Sanchez will step in behind the plate while William Contreras rests his legs as the designated hitter.

Turang is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Turang doesn't operate in a strict platoon at second base, but he'll sit Sunday against Colorado southpaw Kyle Freeland. Andruw Monasterio will start at the keystone and bat ninth in the series finale.

Busch is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Busch went 1-for-17 while starting the past seven games but will sit Sunday against New York righty Gerrit Cole. Cody Bellinger will shift to first base while Mike Tauchman receives a start in right field.
