Abrams (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

It's the third straight game on the bench for Abrams due to shoulder soreness after he was scratched from the starting nine for Friday's series opener versus Miami. Nasim Nunez will receive another look at shortstop for the Nationals. Manager Dave Martinez indicated Abrams could be available off the bench Sunday and may return to the lineup Monday against the Mets, per Nusbaum.

De La Cruz is absent from Sunday's lineup against Kansas City.

De La Cruz went 2-for-8 with one run scored and two strikeouts over the first two games of the series, and he will sit for the finale Sunday. Billy Cook will start in right field and bat ninth against Royals right-hander Brady Singer.

Benson (finger) is absent from Sunday's lineup against the Twins.

Benson is not starting for a third straight game after sustaining an injury to his left middle finger during Thursday's game against the Cardinals. He did enter Saturday's game against the Twins in the bottom of the seventh inning in right field, and he hit an RBI single in the eighth frame. Benson will likely be available out of the dugout for Sunday's series finale, and with the Reds scheduled for an off-day Monday, the 26-year-old could return to the lineup for Cincinnati's upcoming home series against Atlanta.

The Phillies designated Garcia for assignment Sunday.

Garcia was promoted to the big club Sept. 7 after J.T. Realmuto suffered a knee injury. Garcia appeared in three games for the Phillies and went 0-for-7 with three strikeouts over that span. The move makes room on the 28-man roster for the reinstatement of third baseman Alec Bohm (hand) from the 10-day injured list.

The Phillies reinstated Bohm (hand) from the 10-day injured list. He'll start at third base and bat fifth Sunday against the Mets.

Bohm injured his left hand in late August and was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 3. He made one rehab appearance on Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, when he went 2-for-4 with one double. The Phillies evidently saw enough from Bohm on Saturday to bring him back with the big club, and he'll immediately reclaim his spot in the infield rather than being eased back in as the designated hitter.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Goldschmidt will receive Sunday off after a stretch of 18 straight starts, during which he batted .391 with 10 doubles, two homers and 10 RBI. Alec Burleson will shift to first base while Luken Baker serves as the designated hitter in the series finale at Toronto.

Pages is absent from Sunday's lineup against Toronto.

Pages will sit for the series finale after going 2-for-8 with one stolen base over the first two games against the Blue Jays. Ivan Herrera will start behind home plate and bat sixth against Toronto right-hander Yariel Rodriguez.

Winn is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Toronto, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Thomas Saggese will start at shortstop and bat seventh against Blue Jays right-hander Yariel Rodriguez. Winn has slashed .160/.192/.280 with one home run and three RBI over 52 plate appearances in September.

Canha went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Saturday's loss to the Padres. He was also hit by a pitch.

Canha got beaned by Joe Musgrove in his first trip to the plate and added a single his second time around before stealing second. The theft was his sixth of the campaign and his first this month. The outfielder has now hit safely in each of his last two games but is batting just .231 (3-for-13) in September with one RBI, two walks and a stolen base.

Tatis went 3-for-6 with an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Giants.

Tatis went hitless in his first three at-bats before recording a two-out single and stealing second in the sixth inning. He also scored in the frame and added an RBI single in the eighth as San Diego blew out the Giants on the road. Tatis reached three times in the contest and tallied multiple hits for the fourth time this month. It marked his sixth game this season with three or more hits while the steal was his first since June 11 against Oakland. He's now batting .279 (12-for-43) in September with three homers, eight RBI and eight runs scored.
