Albies (wrist) could begin a rehab assignment Tuesday and return from the 10-day injured list for Atlanta's series in Miami this weekend, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

At last check, Albies was still struggling to swing the bat from the left side of the plate due to soreness in his fractured left wrist. It's not clear whether the switch hitter has progressed in that regard or is considering returning only as a right-handed hitter. Albies will be the everyday second baseman when he returns, pushing Whit Merrifield to third base, left field or a bench role.

The Pirates will select Yorke's contract from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Acquired from the Red Sox for Quinn Priester at the trade deadline, Yorke has slashed .303/.385/.449 with 12 home runs and 21 stolen bases between the Double- and Triple-A level this season. The 22-year-old is primarily a second baseman, but he also has a bit of experience at third base, shortstop and all three outfield spots. Yorke should play pretty often for Pittsburgh down the stretch.

Bader is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Even though Starling Marte (forearm) is on the bench for the second day in a row, the Mets won't make room in the outfield for Bader, who had started in center field in each of the previous four contests. Instead, Tyrone Taylor will get the starting nod in center after he went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Marte (forearm) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

He'll be on the bench for a second day in a row while he tends to a forearm injury, which he suffered when he was hit by a pitch in Saturday's game against the Phillies. The Mets are viewing Marte as day-to-day, and the expectation is that he'll avoid a stint on the injured list. Jesse Winker will cover right field in Marte's stead Monday.

Lindor (back) is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Lindor is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his back after renewed soreness forced his exit from Sunday's game versus the Phillies. There's no word yet on the results of that exam, but he will miss at least one more start. Jose Iglesias is at shortstop and batting leadoff for the Mets.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Dodgers.

Sean Murphy will start at catcher for Atlanta on Monday. He and d'Arnaud wound up splitting the catching duties during the four-game series with the Dodgers, with both making two starts apiece.

Kelenic is not in the lineup for Monday's game versus the Dodgers.

Kelenic manned left field for Atlanta in both of the last two games, but Ramon Laureano will be in the lineup Monday versus righty Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Kelenic has now hit the bench four times over the last six contests, with three of his absences coming against right-handed pitchers.

Murphy (knee) has yet to resume catching and isn't expected to be activated from the 60-day injured list before the season ends Sept. 29, Evan Webeck of the East Bay Times reports.

Murphy has resided on the IL since May 5 with a sprained MCL in his left knee. Though he avoided surgery and was expected to make a full recovery from the injury in six weeks, Murphy has been a slow healer, with the knee injury still presenting too much pain for him to resume squatting behind the plate. The knee sprain hasn't kept him from hitting, throwing and running, but the Giants aren't keen on activating the 33-year-old if he's available only as a designated hitter or pinch-hitting option. Murphy said that he expects to be ready to resume catching in spring training after getting a full offseason of recovery.

Giants manager Bob Melvin said Wednesday that Harrison (shoulder) is unlikely to be activated from the 15-day injured list before the season ends Sept. 29, MLB.com reports.

Though the left shoulder inflammation that sent Harrison to the IL on Sept. 6 has been deemed mild following an MRI, the young southpaw won't be asked to ramp back up with little time left in the season. Harrison had already logged a career-high 124.1 innings prior to being deactivated, which is likely a factor in the organization's decision to shut him down. Over his 24 starts this season, Harrison went 7-7 with a 4.56 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 118:42 K:BB.

Ray (hamstring) threw another bullpen session Saturday and remains hopeful to return from the 15-day injured list to make one start before the end of the season, MLB.com reports.

Ray faced live hitters in batting practice this past Wednesday, but the session was cut short after 42 pitches when he began experiencing fatigue. The southpaw appears to have avoided a major setback, however, given that he was back on the mound just a few days later. Ray will likely still need to face live hitters on at least one more occasion before the Giants feel comfortable bringing him back from the IL, and he could be on a limited pitch count if he reaches his goal of making one more start for the big club. Landen Roupp should make at least one more turn through the rotation as the Giants' fifth starter until Ray is ready for activation.
