Bart is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in St. Louis.

Bart started each of the first three games of the series (two at catcher, one at designated hitter), but he'll take a seat for the finale. Yasmani Grandal will be behind the plate and bat eighth.

Cruz (ankle) will start in center field and bat third in Thursday's game versus the Cardinals.

Cruz made a pinch-hit appearance Tuesday, but this will be his first start since he departed Sunday's game against the Royals due to left ankle discomfort. The 25-year-old is one home run shy of a 20-20 campaign but has a .574 OPS through 49 at-bats in September.

Adames isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After clinching the NL Central on Wednesday, the Brewers will now give Adames his first off day of the season. Joey Ortiz will fill in as Milwaukee's shortstop while Andruw Monasterio starts at third base and bats ninth.

Hoskins is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.

The Brewers have most of their regulars in there the day after clinching the National League Central, but Hoskins is getting the night off. Jake Bauers will play first base and Garrett Mitchell will be the designated hitter in the series opener.

Webb didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Orioles, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out eight.

Webb got off to a strong start against Baltimore, allowing just two baserunners through his first three scoreless innings. However, the right-hander allowed the first three batters to reach in the fourth, ultimately allowing three runs in the frame. While Webb's eight strikeouts matched a season high, he's now allowed three or more runs in each of his last five outings while posting a 6.57 ERA in that span. Webb's ERA now sits at 3.58 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 169:49 K:BB. He'll likely make one more start this season, tentatively lined up for early next week in Arizona.

Rea will start Friday's game versus the Diamondbacks, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Rea's last appearance came in relief Monday, and since the Brewers previously hadn't committed to a starter for Friday, the right-hander looked like he could end up sticking in the bullpen for the rest of the season. Milwaukee will ultimately turn to Rea to fill the fifth spot in the rotation on three days' rest, though he's still likely on the outside looking in for a starting role during the postseason. Rea holds a 6.82 ERA over his last seven appearances (six starts).

Marte is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Phillies, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

The Mets have been careful not to overload Marte with too much playing time since he returned from a knee injury last month. This is the third time he's been out of the lineup over the last five games, although he missed one of those due to a minor forearm issue. Jesse Winker is in right field for the series opener Thursday.

The Marlins designated Devers for assignment Thursday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.

Devers was recalled at the start of September but has played sparingly this month while dealing with a hand injury. The 24-year-old slashed just .228/.293/.360 across 209 plate appearances this season with Triple-A Jacksonville.

The Marlins optioned Hensley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.

Since arriving from Triple-A in late July, Hensley has turned in a .212/.293/.288 slash line with one homer and four RBI across 58 plate appearances. He'll now be sent back to the minors as Derek Hill (shoulder) returns from the injured list, and it's unlikely Hensley makes another appearance for the Marlins over the final 10 games of the season.

The Marlins activated Hill (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.

Hill missed the previous two weeks of action with an impingement in his left (non-throwing) shoulder but has been cleared to return after playing two rehab games with Triple-A Jacksonville. The 28-year-old was receiving regular run in the outfield prior to getting hurt, but the Marlins figure to prioritize Jesus Sanchez, Kyle Stowers and Griffin Conine over Hill down the stretch.
