Tellez is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Bart is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati.

Bart will give way to Yasmani Grandal behind the dish Saturday against Rhett Lowder and the Reds. Bart is 8-for-39 (.205) with a home run and five RBI in his last 12 games.

Triolo is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Triolo gets a well-deserved day off Saturday after starting 11 consecutive contests. In his place, Isiah Kiner-Falefa will play third base while Nick Yorke plays second base.

Suzuki isn't in the Cubs' lineup Saturday against Washington.

Suzuki's 0-for-3 performance in Friday's win put an end to his 10-game hitting streak, during which he went 16-for-41 with two home runs and six RBI. He'll get a chance to rest Saturday while Patrick Wisdom fills in as Chicago's DH and bats seventh.

Stowers is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

With southpaw Max Fried drawing the start for Atlanta, Stowers will retreat to the bench Saturday. Cristian Pache will replace Stowers in center field. Stowers is riding a five-game hit streak, going 7-for-15 with three doubles and a triple during that stretch.

Edwards isn't part of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

After making seven straight starts, Edwards will get the day off Saturday against Max Fried and Atlanta. Javier Sanoja will slot in at shortstop and bat sixth.

The Nationals recalled Lipscomb from Triple-A Rochester on Saturday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

With CJ Abrams heading down to the minors for the final week-plus of the season, Lipscomb will return to Washington to bolster the Nats' infield depth. The 24-year-old owns just a .515 OPS through 204 plate appearances in the big leagues this season, and he will almost certainly be limited to a bench role while Nasim Nunez takes over for Abrams at shortstop.

The Nationals optioned Abrams to Triple-A Rochester on Saturday, Britt Ghiroli of The Athletic reports.

Since the All-Star break, Abrams has slashed just .203/.260/.326 with five home runs and 17 RBI -- a stark contrast from the .832 OPS he logged during the first half of the year. However, manager Dave Martinez said Saturday that Abrams' demotion is not related to his performance. Instead, the decision to send him down to the minors comes amid reports that he stayed out past curfew at a casino in Chicago prior to Friday's early-afternoon game against the Cubs, per Jeff Passan of ESPN.com. With Rochester's season wrapping up, the 23-year-old will instead report to the Nationals' complex in Florida for the final week of the season. Meanwhile, Nasim Nunez will likely be first in line to take over as Washington's primary shortstop.
