Machado went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Nationals.

Machado launched a solo blast in the fourth inning before adding an RBI double in the eighth, notching his first multi-hit effort since May 3. The third baseman has gone deep four times over his past 10 games, though he's hit just 6-for-36 during that stretch. For the year, he's slashing a disappointing .178/.272/.360 with 10 homers, 30 RBI, 28 runs scored and one stolen base across 229 plate appearances.

Beeter earned the save in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Padres, allowing no hits and two walks with one strikeout over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Beeter relieved Gus Varland with the bases loaded and a three-run lead in the eighth inning and was able to record the final out before tossing a scoreless ninth to nail down his third save. In four appearances since returning from the injured list May 21, the 27-year-old Beeter has fired 4.1 scoreless frames with a 5:4 K:BB. He owns a 2.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 14:12 K:BB across 14.2 innings this season and should have a good chance to reclaim the primary closer's role given the lack of success his teammates had in his absence.

Griffin did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Padres, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Griffin was burned by three solo homers and departed with a 3-1 deficit before the Nationals' offense erupted in the late innings. It marked the third time in six May outings that the southpaw surrendered multiple long balls, and he'll finish the month with a 4.86 ERA over that stretch. He'll carry a 3.76 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 65:21 K:BB across 67 innings this season into a road matchup against the Diamondbacks next weekend.

King (4-4) took the loss against the Nationals on Saturday, allowing five runs on five hits and one walk with two strikeouts over six innings.

King allowed just one run through six innings before failing to record an out and being charged with four more in the seventh. The 31-year-old has now surrendered at least four earned runs in each of his last two outings while suffering consecutive losses for the first time this season. He still owns a solid 3.04 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 65:29 K:BB across 68 innings and will look to get back on track in a home matchup against the Mets next weekend.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts relayed Saturday that Glasnow (back) "hasn't gotten over the hump" to increase his throwing progression beyond playing catch, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Glasnow landed on the 15-day injured list in early May due to lower-back spasms. He progressed enough in his recovery to resume throwing Monday, but Roberts noted Saturday that Glasnow has been unable to "let it rip" to this point. The Dodgers will have a better sense of Glasnow's recovery timeline once he's cleared to throw off the mound.

Tatis went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Nationals.

Tatis launched his first home run of the year 451 feet in the fifth inning. Per Todd Dybas of MLB.com, his 55-game drought to open the season was the second-longest ever by a player who had previously hit 40-plus homers in a season. Despite the lack of power, the 27-year-old has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games with three RBI, six runs scored and four stolen bases. On the year, he's slashing .271/.346/.324 with one long ball, 18 RBI, 21 runs scored and 14 steals across 241 plate appearances.

Freeman is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Giants on Saturday.

Freeman is in the midst of a four-game hitting streak, going 5-for-16 (.313) with two runs in that span. He'll be on the bench for the start of Saturday's contest while Hunter Goodman serves as the designated hitter and Brett Sullivan starts behind home plate for the Rockies.

Hernandez (hamstring) said Saturday that he expects to return from the injured list in about a month, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

Hernandez was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain Friday, and although that's a relatively mild strain, he will still spend far more than the minimum 10 days on the shelf. The 33-year-old noted that there's a chance he could return sooner, but he would rather take things slowly than rush back and risk his hamstring turning into a lingering problem.

Muncy is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Phillies on Saturday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

With the Phillies sending southpaw Jesus Luzardo to the mound, the lefty-hitting Muncy will open Saturday's game on the bench while Santiago Espinal starts at third base and bats ninth. Since May 1, Muncy has gone 14-for-69 (.203) with four home runs, nine RBI and 14 runs scored.

Kelly isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals.

Kelly went 0-for-4 during Chicago's loss in Friday's series opener and will now stay put in the dugout to begin Saturday's contest. Miguel Amaya will replace him behind home plate and bat eighth.
