Helsley agreed to a one-year, $8.2 million contract with the Cardinals on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

After leading the majors with 49 saves last season, Helsley has officially earned himself a $4.4 million raise heading into his final year of team control. The 30-year-old reliever also finished 2024 with a 2.04 ERA and 1.10 WHIP alongside a 79:23 K:BB, and he projects as one of the top fantasy closers entering the new year.

Siri agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million contract with the Mets on Thursday, avoiding arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Acquired from Tampa Bay early in the offseason, Siri's glove is likely to earn him regular playing time in the Mets' outfield in 2025. That being said, it will be hard for fantasy managers to trust him after he hit just .187 with a 37.9 percent strikeout rate over 402 at-bats last season.

Perdomo and the Diamondbacks avoided arbitration Thursday by agreeing to a one-year, $2.55 million deal, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Perdomo will be heading into his fourth season as the Diamondbacks' primary shortstop, though he may only be keeping the seat warm until top prospect Jordan Lawlar is ready for a full-time role at the MLB level. The 25-year-old Perdomo is a quality defender who hit at league-average level last season (.273/.344/.374 slash line, 101 wRC+), but he lacks power (.095 career ISO) and isn't a premium base stealer (34 stolen bases in 401 career games). He'll likely hit near the bottom of the batting order while he remains a regular in the Arizona lineup.

The Pirates and Bednar avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $5.9 million contract Thursday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Bednar had a rough 2024 campaign, losing his closer job while collecting a 5.77 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 58:28 K:BB across 57.2 innings of work. He could get another shot in the ninth inning in 2025 but won't be handed the job.

Naylor agreed to a one-year, $10.9 million contract with the Diamondbacks on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Naylor slashed .243/.320/.456 with 31 home runs and 108 RBI with the Guardians last season -- good enough to secure a $4.3 million salary increase entering his first year in Arizona. With Christian Walker now in Houston, Naylor is expected to handle most of the workload at first base.

The Giants and Doval avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $4.525 million contract Thursday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Doval was eligible for arbitration for the first time. The 27-year-old lost his closer job and was sent to the minors for a while in 2024, finishing with a 4.88 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 78:39 K:BB over 59 frames. However, Doval still boasts nasty stuff and should be a high-leverage arm again for the Giants in 2025 if he can throw enough strikes.

Luzardo agreed to a one-year, $6.225 million contract with the Phillies on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Luzardo will receive a $725,000 raise heading into his first year with the Phillies. The 27-year-old southpaw logged a 5.00 ERA and 1.25 WHIP over 66.2 innings with the Marlins before a lumbar stress reaction put an early end to his season in June. After being traded to the Phillies, he recently told reporters that he's fully recovered from his injury and is a candidate to bounce back in 2025 after posting a 3.48 ERA between 2022-23.

The Rockies and Gomber avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $6.35 million contract Thursday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Gomber will more than double his salary from 2024 in what was his third year of arbitration eligibility. The left-hander put up a 4.75 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 116:38 K:BB over a career-high 165 innings for the Rockies in 2024 and will be part of their rotation again in 2025.

Singer and the Reds avoided arbitration Thursday by agreeing to a one-year, $8.75 million contract, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Singer will get a $3.9 million raise in 2025 after he submitted a 3.71 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 170:54 K:BB across 179.2 regular-season innings with the Royals last season before being dealt to the Reds in November. The right-hander made up for a so-so 22.3 percent strikeout rate by generating ground balls at a steady clip (47.1 percent), and his ability to mitigate damage on flyballs may help him stave off a dramatic increase in his ERA as he moves to a more hitter-friendly environment in Great American Ball Park in 2025.

The Cubs and Pearson avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.35 million contract on Thursday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Pearson posted a 2.73 ERA in 19 appearances after being acquired by the Cubs at the trade deadline, although that came with just 23 strikeouts in 26.1 innings. The former top prospect could potentially find himself working in high-leverage spots out of the Cubs' bullpen in 2025.
